I got my PC retail version today. And was install I was at 99%-and it stopped because it was looking for the physicsx file- I am running ME2 no sweat what the deal?? I even downloaded it from the nvida website- refuses to finish install because of the " cant find ____" message. I'm stuck HELP

What is your graphic card? Is it an ATi/AMD GPU? If so someone else had a similar problem with the installation.

Yeah as I said to the other guy, ATI gpu's do not use hardware Physx only software emulation, so it shouldn't install the Physx stuff at all.

AMD processor and ATI AGP card lol
taking ME2 out and ( keeping saved games ect) the physicx wont uninstall from add/remove - gonna pull from registry and reinstall origin too and maybe that will help

Yeah probably best to remove all traces of Physx from the registry. And then hopefully it won't find the need to install it.

From what I've read you still need tp have PhysX installed for it to run, like with the other DA/ME games. Try grabbing the lastest PhysX version from www.nvidia.com .
If your card is ATi AGP I suspect you're below the system requirements, and that that might be the real problem here.

There was ATI AGP cards still in spec with the game before PCI-e totally removed AGP.
Its the fact the Physx installer is not finishing correctly likewise for someone else on the forum.

I pulled all the info about Nvidia PhysX out of registry and deleted the file frolder from HD - newest one I downloaded installed and now it all works!!~
I Am running a single core AMD and a 512mb ATI card- looks good just like ME2 and Now I can finally play it. But the main issue was " it couldnt find the older version and remove it." **** all good now !!*** and I love the game LOL- soon gonna get on Multiplayer and get resources !!!

Ahhh good, glad you got it sorted. Might have to start a new thread so other people know what to do.
