This is going on 3 days now and I'm really irritated!
From Ashes never downloads. It gets to 25% and then stops. If I pause the download and restart it, it starts over and fails again around 25%. My copy is registered.
Here's what I've done:
Cleared download cache folders.
ME3 repair.
Origin uninstall/reinstall.
ME3 uninstall/reinstall.
Launching Origin as administrator.
No matter what I've done, it still fails. This really pisses me off as I shelled out $80 for something I cannot even use. Why doesn't EA provide a way to download DLC outside of the buggy Origin product?
Anyone have any other suggestions? Origin support doesn't help, they just tell me they're looking into it and then 5 mintues later end the chat session on me. EA support told me to do a full uninstall of ME3 and Origin and that of course didn't work (and wasted 3-4 hours redownloading the game).
I'm kinda stuck... I've played a bit of ME3 but I really want to do the From Ashes mission before I get too far into the ME3 story.

I know it sounds dodgy... But have you tried with your Anti-Virus software disabled while downloading and installing it?

I think that it is an invisible DL. I had the same problem. 1st time i loaded the game i got an error for ashes that it was a corrupted DL. Then i spent some time trying to find up, and much later when i started the game it was installed and ready to go. I guess that it is a big DL. I found it very annoying that the DL progress doesn't show.

It does in Origin, click the (i) button and it will be listed there. There was an updated from ashes released recently, so right click the From Ashes entry and goto check for update.

OK I tried the update and it starts to download but then stops around 25% still. I'm not sure what is going on but it's really bothering me.

Problem is still not fixed. However, today the download speed mantained itself to about 20 KB/sec after 50% of the download was complete. Took way longer than it should've, but I was finally able to download "From Ashes"
