Ok, so I just got the game a few hours ago and put the disc in the computer, pressed the set-up.exe. Origins demanded the serial and I wrote it in like XXXX-XXXX-XXXX etc. then origins wouldn't accept it so I thought I'd write it in like XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX (without the lines in between) but it said the code had already been redeemed and went on to demand the serial. I shut that part down, saw that Origin had ME3 in my game library and I clicked on it thinking I should try again but it started downloading.
I didn't think much about it and left to make dinner. When I returned I realised it was downloading, not installing. I didn't really know what to do so I checked on the tech support page and saw other people had similar problems but I couldn't really see a solution.
My download is at 83% now and I don't know what to do. Should I just let it finish even though I have a physical copy of the game? Or will that mess things up? I won't have to pay for the downloaded version, right? Should I try to install it from disc even though the download is so close to being done?
Origin... again

I have the exact same issue and i can't find a solution for it.It's all because of this piece of crap known as origin.
This would have been so much simpler had they released the game on steam.

I had issues with installing Skyrim from the disc (steam insisted on downloading the entire game) but unlike origin it wasn't that hard to find a fix.
I just wish it didn't have to be such an ordeal just to install a game.
EDIT: And now the download has stopped at 99% and won't go any further... sigh.

I tried installing it again but origin keeps demanding my activation code but when I write it in it claims that code has already been used. I don't know what the hell to do. Please help!

Sadly there's no working fix yet, but check
http://social.biowar...4/index/9695748
for a possible way to install it anyway. Otherwise your options are waiting or downloading through Origin.
