I would think the Destroy ending would be the 'Perfect Ending' since it's the only one where Shepard can survive and requires the most Military Strength.

How is that a good ending? There is a very good chance everyone will die in the long run with that outcome.Obvakhi wrote...

While I agree the control ending isn't bad. I have to say that the merge ending is the only one that will provide peace with synthetics in the long run. So I gotta go with that one.Aeduz wrote...

I still think control is the best ending, well the best from a bad bunch.
Control = Preserve the citadel, preserve the reaper tech, Shepard "ascends" into something greater than a normal human. This is speaking from a Paragon control ending, the Renegade control ending would be very much like The Illusive Man, using the reapers for destruction rather than protection which would maybe be classed as the worst. Would have been nice to have more endings based on if you're Paragon or Renegade, because clearly the intent of decisions would be different depending on you.

By that token, you also shouldn't believe that you were actually going to destroy the reapers if you went for any of them.
You also probably shouldn't have trusted that the prothean schematic was a weapon and not a Reaper trap.
Although I would be amused with an ending ofShepard just stands at the Crucible until dying while the Reapers continue the cycle.
Yeah if they had interduced the problem earlier in the game it could have worked out better. I guess they'll have to build the issue up with DLC and other add ons so it makes better sense.DrekorSilverfang wrote...
Synthesis is the ideal solution to the problem presented by the catalyst.
The thing is you don't know that is the "problem" you are facing until the last 5 minutes of the game and that rubs me the wrong way. Not only that... who the hell is the catalyst? it made the reapers that's not just a minor footnote @_@
