I installed ME3 tuesday after work and imported my female shepard
from me2 with blonde hair and clear clomplexion with no problems.

I played the game for a few hours then saved and went to bed.

Wednesday after work I started the game back up to continue playing, but for some
reason now my female shepard has red hair and freckles.  Also her
skills are weird (I had ~66 points to spend when I first began which i
put in combat mastery and fitness and cryo ammo, now I only have ~5-7
points, and half the categories are locked (you must level up to unlock
this blahblah)).

Nothing else seems to be affected.

Anyone else experience this?

exactly the same problem here facewise, although I didn't think to check the skills. And I think I've overwritten any old saves that may let me recover things...

No, the skills are up the spout too. So glad I hadn't got very far in the game in case I have to restart
