So when I made this account in the weeks leading up to the release of ME3, I used the email address that I use in my daily life. A couple years ago when I played my first EA game, however, my xbox was associated with an older email address. I wanted to associate my copy of ME3 with this account, so I can post in the game-owners forum, but it automatically registered it to the account on my xbox. BSN has a nice little article telling people what to do if this is the case and my options were essentially stop using this account and use the other one, or merge my accounts and ask EA Help to move my game data for all my EA games to this account.

I logged in to EA Help and started chatting with a representative, but he just kept asking me to repeat what I needed, telling me to "just log into [my] origin account", denying that accounts could be merged, and then telling me that my ME3 game wasn't registered to any account. When I asked how that could possibly be the case, since I'd been playing it and had all my DLC and everything, he responded by telling me that my accounts had "already been merged" -even though he'd just been telling me that that was impossible- and telling me he had to escalate my problem and his superior would contact me. I haven't heard from them, of course, and I'm tired to beating my head against a wall, just so I can enjoy a game.

I'm just wonding if anyone else has been having difficulties like this, and what they've done about it. Anything anyone could tell me would be awesome!
