Not sure who to support here. On one hand you could possibly save any survivors and on the other any tech info gathered from the ships could be useful. Anyone have a suggestion or tell me what you did and what outcome came of it. Thanks.

Pick either one. Doesn't really matter in the end. Just side conversations to get involved in, nothing more.

I figured as much. Like most, just wanted to make sure b/c I have noticed that when supporting one person or the other, after looking thru War Assets and reading the updates, my support for one side slightly affects the assets. But ok, thanks.
