I might be blind or something but I don't know where to find this hoodie or dog ingame.

No I'm not kidding. I have the Collector's Edition and once I got it, I thought I'd get the hoodie in the armor locker straight away and all (I've even inputted the codes too...although I have to say when I was activating my online pass, it gave me a weird error before desipte in my registered contents here I got the soundtrack  by activating it).

So I'm a little lost now and I don't want to think that I might have a problem or something so I want to ask: am I supposed to get these items like maybe later in the game, through some medium like purchasing or what? At least I can expect that while playing and I don't have to worry.

If not...then it's to the technical problems...I really hope that's not the case...

Including the dog with the deluxe versions only was mind boggling. I simply do not see the point as to why something so pointless and inconsequential it wasn't just included in the original game. It does not add anything to the game.

(Apparently)Contrary to popular belief and Bioware's statements, the dog does nothing beyond trot about a set path in a small corner. High reward for the dedicated gamer.

If you're lucky you may even see it offer a dirty rag from engineering to Liara. And Garrus may calibrate it, from time to time.

If you can't find them on the Normandy (the hoodie is listed under your casual outfits, #5 I believe, and the cyber dog can be found wandering around the shuttle bay with Vega), check your e-mails at your personal terminal - there should be one regarding each item.

I'm disappointed with the dog. I can't even interact with it. He just walks around scanning things. And didn't bioware say that we would be able to take him into battle with us, or am i just imagining things?

You are imagining things. Bioware I believe said he would follow you around on the ship though.

I don't get the dog and hoodie either. I've checked my entire Casual rack and the Shuttle Bay. All my e-mails are read. I wonder if I screwed it up by redeeming the online pass code on the dashboard (won't let me into multiplayer because it says my code has been used already). Can anybody clarify if those items are tied to the Online Pass or am I supposed to recieve another set of codes from somewhere? All I got was the Normandy Avatar Prop and the Online Pass in the case.

Edit: Nevermind. Figured out what I did wrong.

I'm still a little disappointed we didn't get a dog companion to take into battle. Like a Varren. They could even recycle the Mabari AI from Dragon Age and just use a Varren skin and I'd be happy.

Oh well. I guess the stalwart dog companion is more of a fantasy trope and not a science fiction one. Still.

Yeah the dog is ridiculously disappointing, I was expecting to at least be able to pet him or have him follow me. Instead it just walks in a circle and Shepard can greet it occasionally.

 Ok I've checked casual appearance, shuttle bay and emails, and I've not found them.

So what did I do wrong that I didn't include them? Code or what? SOMEONE TELL ME OR I'LL KEEP WORRYING BECAUSE I MAY HAVE LOST THOSE THINGS AND A SMALL FACTION OF MY PAID MONEY!

Anyway I know some quirks aren't what people expect on the dog or what but...this post was just to find out what happened to these stuff not in the game. AND that you did buy the edition.

But if you want to vent it out then feel free. Who knows, people may get more out of it if Bioware gives out an update or DLC. Alhtough I get that maybe the game developers may not have enough time to do a lot more on the dog before the deadline. You can't expect game designers to be gods in every game making.

I'm practially studying game design and I find it very tough.

You may not have downloaded it through origin, go check the addons for it through origin.

In any case, the dog is sadly... not active.

Yeah, same here. I installed the N7 edition (preordered from amazon). I got the prothean, the rifle, the squad alternate outfits, but no hoodie or dog. I thought I paid for those too....

Ok so it's the same problem with PC as with XBox I take. That would mean it's technical then. In all, I bought the X-Box version (hardcore xbox player) but yeah, I don't see the hoodie and dog but everything else that came with it. Including music soundtrack, dlc from the ashes, weapons, armor, etc.

Anyone out there can enlighten on the problem with both PC and Xbox so we don't really feel like we may have been cheated? Please? Answer if it's probably because of code error or it hasn't been out yet, or something. ANYTHING to resolve this...

...I wanna see hoodie. ;-;

You're not really missing much. The pants they put with the hoodie are awful. I thought it made you look kind of like a bum.

IMO the N7 leather jacket is much more appealing.

You could check if you have the collector avatars available here on the forums. If you do, then it's probably just some technical problem with the in-game items.

 So bascially no one is gonna help us in trying to find them or fix the problem but instead telling us they suck, not worth it, blah blah blah, annoying, annoying, etc.

Which means you think sinking into worry on the idea we lose a few dollars on these items isn't worth it when we paid good money for the WHOLE thing and I expect to see the WHOLE THING in the game.

HURRAH! A SOLUTION! SEE I WANT ANSWERS THAT ARE CARING AND TO THE POINT!!!!

And ok I'll checfk this out. Actually where can I find this avatar thing? From the registered content section? Or Player Profiles or what? I also have seen those avatar awards pop up in my game in Xbox so I know I can access them...just not sure where.

Mass Effect 3 (everyone has this)
Mass Effect 3 Game Owner Portraits
Mass Effect 3 Collector's Edition Portraits

edit: By avatars, I meant profile pictures, I'm not used to the x-box terminology..

Ah I see so that's where to find the avatars.

Well it does solve my curious question bout those but not the hoodie and dog. Ah well, thank you still for the direction.

The dog was one of the main characters. Learn to pay attention to the gamez sir. 

Yea i'm a little flabbergasted that this was a bullet point for the collector's edition...i mean...seriously?
