 I shot that thing out of the sky, sorry Garrus but you gotta learn who's the best in the Galaxy, pal.  And that was coming from my Paragon Shepard LOL.
I did go back and see what happens if you miss, though, haha.  I love Garrus, he's great.  I'm glad I didn't import my Garrus Romance game first just to see that scene.
It was a great bonding moment, very well done.  

I like how when it gets sappy Garrus is all like, You're not going to propose marriage or something, are you?

I had my infiltrator miss on purpose. I wanted Garrus to have his moment, It felt good

Garrus is the best bromance in any game I've played. Of course I missed; he has to have SOMETHING on Shepard, and he's always talking about his skills as a sniper. If Shepard took that way from him, what would poor Garrus have left?

Garrus probably goes back to the Normandy and drowns himself in dextro chocolate if you hit it instead of missing. XDDD

I have to add that although I continued with my game where I had hit the bottle, I did think missing it was the better option.  

But I hadn't saved before hand and when I finally got around to going back and redoing the scene I was already so far into the game that replaying it completely would have to wait for another day.  

Although, it's time for my Garrus romance playthrough so I probably won't see that scene again for a while. <3

I hit it too. I'd not mind losing the darn contest, but doing it on purpose just seemed disrespectful. Sort of like I wasn't taking him seriously.

Yeah ultimately that was my thinking on it.  I was like miss on. . . PURPOSE?  Or hit it.  Well if Shep can really hit it then she should.  It's undermining to Garrus otherwise as you said.  I half expected Shepard to miss either way just to prove that maybe Garrus really WAS a better sniper.
