i was completely misled by other post regarding ps3 fps issue saying that the fps issue only occurs during the first earth segment . it turns out the problem don't stop there , atm the turian moon level fps is completely horrendous  during fighting parts especially when there is a big number of enemies appearing on the screens , this is simply outrageous , while xbox360 people having a smooth fun time we are getting choppy terrible experience , ill never buy a bioware product again , thank u for wasting my hard earned money on a broken product

I don't know about a frame issue yet, but I was just doing a mission on the krogan home planet and during a battle all sound was completely drowned out by an ear-shattering static-type noise. All audio, dialog etc was gone entirely but the static sound remained. Also, I had EDI in my party and when this occurred she completely dissapeared from my team. It's not like her abilities and weapons just said "Blocked", she was completely gone from my party, leaving only one member and myself.

I'm about to boot it up again and see if I run into the same problem.

Eden Prime mission seemed to have a good deal of frame rate drop for me (ps3)

Not sure if this your issue
However:
When you see the Blocked on a party member they are behi\\nd a shield or other obejct out of range.
I saw that happen on Mars when I was looking one way and the other team mate was behind me. When I turned around and looked at them they showed up in the power wheel (unblocked)

No, she wasn't blocked. Her character and her character avatars in the powers and weapons wheel completely vanished. I only had my prothean squad mate left.

But I re-loaded it and tried it again and it didn't re-occur; I was able to fininsh the mission. I'm just hoping this isn't a sign of things to come.

The exact same thing happened to me. The only difference was my glitched out partner was Jarik; not EDI. That loud constant screeching noise ruined the whole experience for me. It was fine after I reloaded the level but it still needs to be fixed

I'm having the same issue, and I'm wondering if not connecting to the EA Servers would remedy this.

It seems possible, considering it IS EA Servers.

Anyone else experience drastic frame rate drops while playing MP? It also happens once I get in the GAW initial screen (quick match screen)? I know it's not my connection because I can hear the voice chat clearly.

your not the only one happened to me, wasn't lag , happened in game mp when a whole lot enemies are on screen the fps dips to like 14fps
