I just figured it out that in my "chosen" savegame I didn't finish a couple of N7 missions in Mass Effect 2. Can I skip them or should I go back and play them before start Mass Effect 3?
Regarding N7 Missions, do they have an actual impact to the game?

I don't think any of them have any effect

They give you some more war assets to work with. Otherwise, no impact.
Oh, and the missions also sometimes have resolutions in them for some of the side quests.

Yeah, i always found them to be just lazy excuse to incorporate MP maps into the SP.

They have fetch quest stuff in them, that's about it.
Still never found the guy's body on Benning, was too lazy to look it up since I can just buy the credit later...

Benning evidence of his son? Thats just a little ( ) on the ground... I think its to the right of where you spawn in on multiplayer near the open area at the back (where the ammo box is next to the steps that enter a structure). Stick to the outside path and you will find it eventually. I could be wrong though.. dont quote me

I can't think of any of the N7 missions in ME2 that had any effect in ME3. The only sidemissions that affected anything were DLC ones.

It's actually next to a pillar on the right side of the map, on the street outside the buildings.Xellith wrote...

On topic, I don't think any of the ME2 N7 missions have any impact whatsoever, which is kind of a shame. Some of them, like the Cerberus operative on Lorek, and the mech virus, could have had interesting effects if they followed through. Oh well, no big deal.

I think the Cerberus Lab gets a mention after Sanctuary, but that's about it. They're mainly just little combat side missions.
