So guys, I feel like I wasted 60 bucks.

I played ME1....I played ME2....I was full paragon in both games....I saved the council....I made Anderson the ambassador...I saved Wrex on Virmire....I survived the suicide mission in ME2...everyone in my crew made it out alive...I kicked ASS.

And then....I got to the end of this game and I felt like Bioware was laughing in my face. So MANY plotholes....and so much death and depression.

I tell you this now, and I expect to get trolled for saying it....but after DA2....the Star Wars: TOR fiasco...and now this...

I will not spend another DIME on Bioware unless they PROVE to me that they give a crap.

inb4 hurr durr it was a great story. NO...NO it wasn't. It was 2 games of epic storytelling...and then a massive slap in the face at the end.

:crying:

Yes I will agree. Even with Mordin and Legion it was all pretty epic. And then I got to the end and felt like I was being trolled by Bioware.

The deaths were totally reasonable up until the end. Then it's like a different team took over and pissed all over everything for a laugh after you get hit by the beam.

Also, WHERE/HOW THE HELL does TIM get into the Citadel?

I don't know about you, but when I was charging to the beam it was just me and some random goons and a tank. My team wasn't with me.

I pretend the ending never happened and replace it with my own. That being said I don't see a need to play the game again. I also don't plan on buying any new Bioware games. I guess I'll have to hope I can find a new game series to invest all my love and time with...

Yup, it's like they ran out of time, money & interest in the last couple minutes & just slopped any crap together & shipped it out. I still can't believe it.

Your team wasn't with you? After all the crap you went through together in all 3 games your team wasn't with you??? A bunch of random goons go running straight into a Reaper beam but your team wasn't with you?

I guess your team found a McDonald's in the last couple minutes & decided to grab a burger while Shepard & everybody else ran straight into death?

Even if you couldn't see them in the middle of all that chaos, they were with you!  Everybody was trying to get into that beam. They needed as many people as possible because they didn't know what to expect on the other side.

What he's saying is that you never actually see your team with you.
However, you're also right - they should have been. So how do they suddenly get back on the Normandy and why is the Normandy flying off through space in the first place, when there's a fight above Earth? And, if the Normandy is damaged by the blast of the Mass Relay - even at the speed and distance it was already at - what happens to all of the other ships above Earth (this question coincides with the previous)?

Also, just so everyone knows, no matter what ending you picked, you just stranded all those people that you gathered up to help you. Unless they want to travel for LITERAL years to try to get home, they'll never see their loved ones again, because of what you did to the mass relays.

When you went after TIM on Kronos Station they told you that he snuck onto the Citadel a long time ago.  That's why you got stuck fighting Kai Leng on Kronos Station instead of TIM.

I know. I covered that in another thread. EDI & Liara were on my team when we all got blasted by the Reaper beam. But then Liara & EDI both got out of the Normandy. And where the hell was Joker going? Why was he jumping through the mass relays in the first place? No thought went into the ending.

In my ending all the mass relays have to be destroyed??? No explanation at all. If you choose control the mass relays have to be destroyed. WTF? They just stranded all the non-human species on Earth. They can't get back to their home planets without the mass relays.

What the hell happened Bioware???

Oh ya, it was still kind of jarring that he just appeared like that though IMO. I dunno the whole ending was horrible anyway what does that smaller point even matter.

I have to agree. Until the end it felt pretty good, there were a few things here and there that annoyed me (the way conversations were) but I liked it. For me the ending ruined it completely. I'll play a few more time to see other choices and such but I feel like I can stop right there in London from now on.

The thing was that I knew what the endings were pregame release. I thought that I would be less affected since I already came to terms with the ending. Seeing all the good stuff before it though made me realize it was WORSE after you played through.

Sad because its not death that bothered me about the end. I mean Legion and Mordin were both amazing IMO. It's just how it happened.

The Bioware writers got tired at the end, that's all I can think of. They scripted everything *except* the ending early on, wrote it all out, and then sat around for a week or so trying to brainstorm how to put it together. It feels... tacked on.

Nope. When you have a budget like they have, you don't just rush an ending like that. It's not a matter of reassources, the price and time for a cutscene is riculous compared to level design and the likes. When thing are cut off in develepoment, it's either side quest, lines, or things like that, things that should have been in the game if the developement was perferct, and it never is.

You want a cut ending?look at kotor 2, not enought time so let's just put in dialogue. Besides, if it all comes down to that, you could just put writtings on a screen like DAO( and that was totally acceptable bioware you ear me?It's actually great even, better than this in so many ways).

The normandy being in space is just the writters having no idea what they are doing anymore, or someone trying to put in a sequel at the last minute. The kid is ok, but the normandy crew is complete non-sense. It has nothing to do with time or money, it's just badly written, plain and simple.

It reminds me of the old days of D&D gaming.

"You have entered a room with three doors on the opposite wall, all three point to certain death..."

Also it reminds me off Monty Hall. (for the other old people on the forum.)
