[Raefire]

Okay, so I have the Citadel: Heating Unit Stabilizers side quest activated. I'm supposed to go to the Spectre store, find the units, and give them to the Salarian. 

Problem: Something's wrong.

I've already made several trips to the Citadel since getting the mission, but every time I return to the place, I can't find the stabilizers in the Spectre store. And the Salarian in the Commons just seems frozen save for some slight movement. He's not even talking offhand like the other side quest NPCs keep doing until you've retrieved what they're looking for.

Either it's bugged that way (the item not showing up in the Spectre store in the first place), or I may have already completed the mission without remembering that I did, and the game is bugged in that it's not recognizing that I have.

Either way, I've finished all the other Citadel side quests available to me so far. I'd like to be able to finish it. Help?

Same thing happened to me, I got another quest today and I went back to the spectre store and the Stabilizers were finally there. :/ This is a very buggy game at times.

Think I've found the bug. It just happened to me on the GX12 side quest, too. Seems I interrupted Traynor while she was about to tell me Engineer Adams wanted to speak to me. I completed the quest, but it didn't recognize that I had. I'm beginning to think I accidentally interrupted the salarian before he finished his line thanking me, too - and even though I completed the mission, the game didn't recognize that I had.

Same issue and the Volus for book of irune is the same, where are bioware support staff? or is this not their forum?

You are able to get some of these items via missions (searching around during the mission). If you miss the items during these missions, then you will be able to purchase them in via store. To sum up.. The items won't be in the store until after the mission and fail to recover the item during the mission.

I acquired the item in-mission but the salarian is frozen and won't interact. So there seems to be no way to conclude the quest.
I'm also having trouble with the Irune quest, but I've been unable to isolate exactly what is going wrong. I hope BioWare fixes these little bugs quickly.

it's doubtful since they seem to focus on multi player problems and not single player. which, for a predominately rpg single payer tittle is stupid, fix the story parts first then worry about mp but as they don't look at the forums they probably don't know about any bugs

That mission looks bugged but isn't.

If I remember, I first went to the terminal in the Embassies. After that the quest marker kept pointing to that terminal but I had to activate another instead which was in the Presidium. After that I had to activate 3 at the docks (one in the front and one in the back and then back to the one in the front) and then go back to the first terminal in the Embassies.

The quest markers were screwed up but the quest is not broken.

I've successfully finished every single side quest. Some of them are acquired a while before you can complete them. For heating stabilizers, it's not going to show up until after a certain story progression, same with a few others.

For the ones where you're trying to turn in and the reticule isn't showing up, do a quick save and reload, and that should fix it.

Theronyll, I think your talking about a different quest, that's the hannar diplomat quest, this one is finding heat stabilizers either on a mission or at the specter terminal and returning them to a slararian the salarian is frozen and can't be spoken to. It doesn't happen to everyone but a few people have the bug

Apparently Bioware are now aware of these bugs and they will be fixed soon according to Ea support however I am not sure that they actually passed it on to bioware or are jus claiming they have so their manager thinks they did something

and now no patch news and they aren't going to fix it, is suggest not buying bioware games till they wake up to themselves they've lost me
