I get the point you are trying to make. Morality is relative and Liara isn't violating Shepard because asari don't view breeding in the same way humans do.

It doesn't mean I have to like it, nor should any Shepard that didn't romance her. It still feels like a violation of trust, even of Liara thought she was doing the right thing by carrying Shepard's legacy. My Shepard wanted to start a family with Garrus (they actually talked about it), not Liara.

Who said you have to like it? My arguement is not that you should not be angry about it, just to help understand why she did it...You have a right to be angry. I'm just saying she didn't  see that she did any wrong. I'm just explaining that it's a grey area in morality. No one is right or wrong.

It is the end of time,and perhaps Shepard's life. Yes I can see Liara rationalizing this in a way to make some sense. Desprate times and all that. As soon as I seen this seen for the first time,these were my thoughts.

In a non-LI Shep and a Liara LI Shep,the only difference in the scene is the color of the light...

It would only be a crine if it can be proven that Sex happened. This is just breeding. The two are different. The closest thing you can use is stealing....But then you have that fact that Asari use other races dna to randomise their childrens dna and don't take anything from the father to do that.

Ah, I see.  Well, Bioware better include dialogue of my Shepard accusing her of brain rape because that's exactly what it would feel like to my Garrusmancer and Garrus who wanted a family of their own.

Then again, this is all speculation until EC.

Liara's the Shadowbroker.  She has to be aware of human customs and morality on some level.  Also, this is the future.  I doubt humans repress their sexuality and never talk about it.

I'm not saying she's not aware of human customs...I'm saying that she's not aware of every human custom. The custom of breeding is never dicusded normally with us at all, just sex. Note that sex and breeding are two different things even if they can both be done at the same time. A ****** is sex but not breeding, and artifical insemination is breeding but not sex. We, as human , talk about sex and the morality of it all the time, but we barely take about the morality of breeding normally.

Liara has been intimately (in some cases more than others) involved with humans and human society for three years. If she did make herself pregnant with "Shepard's" child it means that Liara either never bothered to familiarize herself with human concepts of paternity, or, having learned them, she simply disregarded them.

In other words... If she didn't know; she should have.  And if she did know; she didn't care.

If your saying that she should of know about our morality on breeding, I have to ask you if you can point to a time where it was dicused...They only thing that has is the morality of sex.

Good point.  Since asari derive their entire genetic code from their "mother", I'm not sure that there is a way for anyone to prove any child Liara had would be Shepard's
