I decided to start a new thread on the solution for this, since it affects quite a number of users.

The problem here was people could not complete an installation of ME3, due to the Physx installer and people with ATI graphic cards.

Firstly, follow the instructions below

Goto START
Windows XP users - goto run and type regedit and press ok
Vista/7 users - type regedit in the search box and press enter

Now in the new Registry window

Open up the following paths...(by clicking the little + to the left of folder icons)

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Software
WOW6432Node --- only if you have a 64bit OS, if 32bit OS it won't be here so you can skip
AGEIA Technologies

Delete the AGEIA Technologies folder (right click and select delete)

Now install ME3 again if you wish, or repair install. And it should finish this time..

Thanks goes to JamesT91 for finding out, I decided to do this new thread as his thread wasn't as descriptive for people to notice or do a search on :) So thank him first.

Apparently there is the same issue with Nvidia users also, but the fix above doesn't work.

Will need more info to see what can be done.

If people are still stuck installing Physx, once you do the registry stuff above.

Goto

C:/Program Files/Nvidia Corporation/ and delete the folder Physx entirely. If on 64bit OS it will be C:/Program Files (x86)/Nvidia Corporation/

Then try installing physx or manually install from http://www.nvidia.co...213-driver.html

Found out from another user, that another way was to find out what version you had currently installed of Physx and then getting that version installer from nvidia.com and reinstalling it, then installing current versions.

I had no trouble installing ME3 but now when I try to run ME2 I get this error. Running ATI Mobility Radeon HD 560 graphics card. Am I going to have to uninstall Physx and reinstall it every time I want to switch games? lol Seems silly. If anyone has some insight it would be much appreciated.
