Okay, ... having had my share on the demo and the MP, I thought I had a grasp on how ME3s combat would look like.
I was wrong, plain wrong. About as wrong as could be.
The levels I had so far, Mars and now Eden Prime, are so huge. Too huge. They are a labyrinth for Adraste's sake. I have no idea where my men are running to so I have to constantly rally them so they don't end up camping right in front of a damn turret. And where the *** are the enemies? Answer: I have no damn idea. Why?
Because the maps are too huge and all nicely intersected with buildings. Or in the case as was Mars, huge open groungs (read: killing grounds) with a lot of enemies that are throwing grenades with pinpoint accuracy every couple of moments and can simply zerg-rush you, because they DO know where I am and they obviously DO know the layout of the map.
And another thing, I don't know if its just me, but my Shepard seems to be running awfully slow. As in he almost doesn't change position at all when I start running. That is like half the agility the characters seem to have in MP, he's moving as if his feet are cemented into the ground or something like that.
So, I just died trying to play the Eden Prime mission about ten times, because I have no clue where to go, no clue where the enemies are and because I can't friggin' move away when a damn grenade gets thrown because time seems to cease working when I try to run away.
It is frankly outraging right now.
PC/Insanity/Self-judgement is/was: Decent to Good player/never had problems in ME2 insanity.
I hope I am not the only one having problems acclimatizing to the new combat design, even though having extensive played the demo and the MP.
