Is anyone else finding the shadows to dark in the conversations. Like if there is a light behind you your whole face will go black and you can only see your eyes.

Try using the configuration tool, i had the same issue with the demo as i launched it directly from origin.
Go to to the mass effect 3 game file i.e. c:\\ProgramFiles(x86)\\OriginGames\\MassEffect3\\Binaries
then double click on the config tool launcher
Set things so they look like this:
WINDOWED: FULLSCREEN
WINDOWED MODE: DEFAULT
ASPECT RATIO: 16:9
RESOLUTION: 1360X769
ANTIALAISING ON
MOTION BLUR: ON
DYNAMIC SHAODWS: ON
# OF CINEMATIC LIGHTS: 3
SHLIGHTUNG ON
ANTISOTROPTIC FILTER 16X
Then lsucn the game see how everything looks and then fine tune it in the games options menue

Try dynamic shadows off, 1 cinematic lighting, anisotropic off, spherical lighting on
I had the same issue and this fixed it. I'm going to fine the cinematic lighting, but the problem for me seemed to be with anisotropic and dynamic shadows.

thank you that seemed to work. Now i have to figure out to make hair not be see through when in a room with fog or mist. Like the room with the prothean on the normandy.
