Are you kidding, Mystic? Then we'd stand a good chance of a slimy sergeant showing up and eating people.

Shepard died next to the entrance to the Citadel on earth. The dream sequence on Citadel never happened really. Let's start with that, and rewrite the ending.

At this point, I'd just be glad if they let the Mass Effect trilogy die with some dignity by fixing the ending.

No sequel or prequel.

Only way I could see them making a quality game that makes sense is to make a prequel thats about the first contact war/krogan rebellion/rachni war/etc...might be able to get away with a story that features garrus/liara before he/she meets shepard.

But before any of that they need to fix the endings tbh.

Time skip or make one of the endings canon, where he lives and a new menace happens. Something far worse than the reapers.

 The Bioware writers?

If Bioware/EA want's to avoid the catastrophic decline in sales that plagued DA2 and save the ME franchise, then a new ending(s) are not simply needed. They're mandatory.

Hey, Polaris: I've seen your well-thought but deeply angry posts about this subject peppered throughout the boards. I'm curious to know your thoughts on the temporality of what you are feeling -- with time, do you think you'll change your mind, or attain a 'softer' stance? I'm only asking because I wonder if my own enraged feelings will die down after some time. I wonder if this immediate rage response that we're seeing on the forums is only because of the newness and unexpectedness of what we're seeing. Or -- we aren't being clouded by our emotions and the endings are truly just garbage.

Given that I've all but given up on the Dragon Age franchise because of DA2 and Bioware's gross mishandling of it, and I am nearly as angry about that now as I was more than a year ago, I'd say it will be years if ever before I even consider "cooling down" at least not without some action by BIoware to correct this (and right now the way I'm feeling, they will have to BEG for forgiveness).  So in short, probably never.  I will simply go away after a while and give up Bioware completely as a source of good games.

Nope. You.

Actually, I was thinking of god-like creatures like that child character, being at the center of all the crap happening in their world. Shepard versus the Fake Gods.
