Got a mission from a diplomat (Elcor) to help his planet. So I jumped onboard the normandy to help save some dudes...
But the planet wasn't marked..
Okay so I loaded up the me wiki and found the region of space they are in. Flew there, and I can't land on the planet....
Am I missing something or is it bugged?
Another Quest Im stuck on

You don't actually help them fight.
In fact, a LARGE portion of the side quests are:
1.) Visit planet.
2.) Scan.
3.) Retrieve artifact/technology/people
4.) Report back to quest giver
There's no actual ground fighting or anything for those.
And those quests also don't have the planets marked either. It'll sometimes tell you (in dialogue or description of quest) what the planet/part of galaxy it's in, but that's the extent of it.

The mission text tells me to go to Dekuna and see if i can save anyone. I can't interact with the planet at all.

Are you scanning nearby so that it tells you that there's something important there?
If yes, then you've hit a bug. I can confirm that's the appropriate place, because I've completed that side mission.
Seems like Bioware's got a lot of bugs they need to work out, though (some people were saying SOME of their war assets weren't showing up at all earlier).

Having the same problem.. I got the mission from the Elcor ambassador after the horizon mission/(after I purchased cerberus codes from the c-sec lab and giving them to a c-sec officer?..((that doesn't make any sense.)) The Elcor ambassador all of a sudden has a red mark.. he never did before. He asks me to rescue elcor from Dakkuna. The only two missions now are "rescue elcor" and "Cerberus Headquarters".. After cerberus headquarters the citidel will no longer be an option.
So maybe it's just a bugged thingy. Have no idea.

Ah, yah that one. There's an issue that if you already scanned that planet prior to getting the quest you are unable to scan it again. However, leave the citadel, do a mission, then come back to the elcor. He should highlight where you can speak to him and the quest should complete.
Some folks have mentioned you can just talk to the Elcor twice in a row but I was unable- leaving and coming back did work, however.

It's not really a bug.
There are two missions for Dekuuna. Some artifact and this rescue mission. If you have scanned Dekuuna for the artifact before talking to the ambassador there's no need to visit Dekuuna again. Just talk to the ambassador again. Quest solved.

You likely already scanned the planet, just go back and talk to the elcor again to complete the quest.

The elcor squad you need to rescue ain't on actual planet but on its moon if my memory serves. Planet gives you only artifact.

When I scanned the planet (or any orbital bodies) gave me nothing. Never liked the elcor much anyways >.>

Glitched. Just go back to the ambassador and the game thinks you've done the quest.
