During your first mission on mars, when your chatting with Ole TIM, You can select "Your wasting time", And 4 choices then pop up, "Then help me" being one of them. However it would not let me choose this option, its blanked out.? What do i have to do to attepmt to recruit mister tim?

You probably have low paragon. Besides, he doesn't join you. Just tells you he has no intention of destroying the reapers, he wants to control them.

That was my first assuption. I reset my character, and chose every possible paragon option availible (i has strategy guide, cheap i know..) and still couldnt choose that option. Also, i tried the reverse, pure renegade, and couldnt chose the other option, the one when you blow him off.

Are you an imported character? I dunno, both options have been open to both of my imports so far.

Well to be honest the who TIM situation was kind of odd. I mean complete 180 in comparison to the ME2 Illusive Man.

Nope, new char, my import was corrupt or something. Wouldnt let me import him, doesnt even show up. Idk. Is there a way to choose this option without an import?

I asked 2 of my friends and both of them (without imports) were not able to pick this route.. wtf? Thats a pretty douche piece of bs.. picture of tali anyone? trololol..
