I usually use Incendiary Ammo on my Revenant MG and go berserk using Adrenaline Rush, and this time it didn't work. I switched to Disrupter Ammo and had Liara and Edi keep the other troops off me and he went down extremely fast. So basically, use Overload, Disrupter Ammo (If possible), and make sure you keep the Phantoms off of you.

I did it as an Adept on Insanity. I switched to using my maxed Energy Drain after the Nemesis showed up in one wave, and then the Phantoms in the last. I really didn't shoot much. So Singularity/Throw on the mooks and Energy Drain on anything that had a Shield or Barrier. Eventually, I really wasn't using cover because I was able to keep casting Energy Drain on the enemy, especially Leng. I had Garrus with EDI, so I'd throw in a few Overloads from time to time, but I didn't level those powers on Garrus or EDI so they weren't very effective.

With the Widow, Garrus put one into the back of that jerk's skull, then I finished him off and told him Thane sent his regards. He was definitely one of the hardest fights in the game for me, I'm ashamed to admit how difficult it was for me to figure out the pattern for the Reaper on Rannoch. Or the last Reaper forces swarm on Earth, Vanguard vs a squad of Banshees is a carefully timed dance that can end in impalement.

I hate that freaking Reaper on Rannoch!  Even when you figure it out you still can get stuck and burned. I want a "Reaper is dead" button to push.

This fight was tough. Soldier playthrough with Garrus and Edi, it took a few times. You can also melee when he charges you to stop him.

I found that it helped to focus on the reapers while making sure he does not get you. I used this same technique in a few spots. Especially Lesuss-I am able to take the shields down on the Banshee pretty quickly, but the armor goes very slowly. The first task in London where you need to wait for the shuttle after taking out the AA Gun is where I would die 4 seconds after the scene loads.

I went in on my Infiltrator with Liara and Edi, it was a cakewalk, I just head shoot everything with my maxed out Widow. First round I think it took 2 or 3 shots to force Kai Leng into recharge mode, wiped out the rest of the riff raff, after the first round all the others only took one shot to put Leng into recharge and quickly finished off the rest of the mooks. I don't think Leng ever even got a chance to attack me or my squadies that entire fight.

I did this as a soldier last night. He was not the problem, for me it was the damn mooks throwing grenades at me every 10 seconds. This had to be the most poorly designed fight in the game, particularly because EDI has such god awful cooldowns. The best thing I can say is use squad cryo if you can and singularity spam the mooks to allow for faster kills and less grenades. I would tell Liara to singularity them as they came down and then throw a few grenades into the pit. This would usually bring most of them down to a few bars. Once the phantoms show up, overload/warp spam them, then singularity them so they won't bother you.

Both fights with him I was thinking to myself, man this guy is a coward, he needs a ****ing gunship and platoons of soldiers to take out me and my 2 friends, how is he a badass?

One other piece of advice, shooting him forces him to dodge, which will stop all of his attacks, save the hulk-smashing.

If you want Edi's cooldowns to be better don't give her defense matrix(or whatever its called) or max it out to get the cooldown penalty reduced.

Is one of the many reasons for my love affair with the Widow toting Infiltrator....The cloak gets a real workout in ME3:

Kai Leng....As soon as I could move, cloaked and ran like hell to the far right....stuck to running the perimeters of the room the whole time, cloaking constantly, running constantly and taking head shots with the Widow...works for me.

The never ending spawning Brutes on Tuchunka: Once I realized they keep spawning until you set both hammers off....just cloaked and ran like hell for both hammers.

Reaching the missile launchers in London: Same method as Tuchunka for same reason.
