Pretty sure you can't get rid of them.

You can get rid of Tali. Either side with the Geth (Tali kills herself) or side with Admiral Xen. Both remove Tali from your squad.

Personally, I like Tali and for an adept, getting Energy Drain as a bonus power from her is *amazing*.

You can side with Admiral Xen to get rid of her? Need to try that.

I feel the same way about Liara....feel like she was rammed down my throat with a sledge hammer in the first hour of the game........still trying to work out why Aethyta called Shep her boyfriend too (his not, never has been)....at least with Garrus you have the option to not dialog him or pick him up asap, unlike Liara (I haven't found Tali yet).

Liara is the Shadow Broker she's a key part and has a lot of knowledge and information to help, and she's a great char, the people who hate her have bricks for brain cells as far as I'm concerned.

Garrus is the liason between the Turian Primaches, so duh... He too is an awesome char.

You guys **** about stupid things.

Same thing happened in Dragon Age 2, actually. Companions are forced on you.

Hate is too strong a word...but as for the general idea of your statement, not everyone is enamoured by blue space chics.

Well, you could do a play through of ME2 where they died. That eliminates them from ME3 all together.

Then think of her as a different colored species, I care because of her relations and the experiences and her personality and conversations and voice.

To be honest, I used to like her....In ME1 I thought she was a little too naive and too fast with Shep, but she was rather sweet, I liked her....then ME2 came along and it just killed her for me, just another ruthless fem squaddie, left me dry on her.

In Mass Effect, Shepard could have a major distrust of Asari to the point of him freaking out when Liara and Shiala do the mind meld on him/her.

Bioware seemed to forget that when it came to ME2... although if you wanted you could avoid Crescent Nebula (and thus Ilum too) if a player wanted to avoid her.

Sure they've made it so in ME3 you can have just a 'professional' stance with her but I think they should have also at least given an option to send her off to help work on the Crucible seeing as a certain idea that was in the original leaked script was cut.

If you don't care about them it says something more about your personality and mental problems... because none of them really have any flaws or poor dialog. So...

You're a very disgusting person.

ME3 has one of the worst endings ever and you people decide to whine about having Tali, Garrus, or Liara on the squad?

Madness.

The only Charachters you're given a choice in recruiting are Javik and Ashley/Kaidan. the rest are mandatory, in other words they join your squad as the story goes along.

I don't understand why people are complaining about squadmates. You don't have to bring them along on missions, in which case they just end up populating the Normandy and giving you more reason to explore and talk to the crew.

Seriously, your argument boils down to "how can I limit my squadmate choice?"

I'm far from finishing the game....am in Australia (game only became available yesterday)...I am concerned from what I have read about the ending, but haven't had the chance to judge that for myself yet.

I only use Garrus and Vega as squaddies at this point in my game...EDI seems cool, but I am having the most fun with Garrus and Vega...too much of Liara already on the Ship, so I leave her there...I don't have any other squaddies as yet.

yes because wanting an option not to have them with me is limiting choices yet you will still have the choice to bring them with YOU if you so choose.

You can't. Also, if you want to do a game without most of the cast... why are you playing a Bioware game? They're famous for their complicated characters and interactions.
