Bodies on the Citadel

So why would they be taking bodies up there? There's no Reaper processing facility there.

Anyway...
It seems that they're in either the central sphere of the Citadel Tower from what I could deduce and in that Foundry of sorts they are absorbing the material, though everything I saw was more about power relays moving up and down ala Shadow Broker, so not sure.

if that was the case why didn't the reapers move the Citadel to earth earlier and not after TIM told the Reapers about the Catalyst plan.
The Reapers were doing really well, indoctrination was working, Cerberus was under their control, things seemed to be fine and dandy. Attacking the citadel would of been detectable, far away, and may have mustered a large enough force. The Reapers were content with their path and to be honest, they were winning, so no real need. But the Crucible was a possibility they couldn't risk so they stopped it. I imagine the Citadel used the relay since it's just a big station that has relay capability, I imagine it can be transported.

The collectors didn't fail... they got blown up, that's not failing. Failing would be if they tried and the genes just didn't work, even then it's not that the collectors failed.
.
fail·ure [feyl-yer] noun
an act or instance of failing or proving unsuccessful; lack of success.
They were building a human Reaper and let a small team infiltrate their base and exterminate them, thus foiling their attempt. Their attempt was unsuccessful. The act of creating a human Reaper failed. The Collectors failed.

During the walk up to the central platform, Shepard and Anderson speculate via comm link that they're trying again to create a human Reaper since the Collectors fail-boated the last attempt.
Right. That's what they'd been doing with the processing of humans all over the Earth (1.8 million a day, the codex says). BEFORE the Citadel gets dragged over. After they spend all this time harvesting humans in camps, in the time it takes to invade TIM's base and the time it takes to get back to Earth, they decide to scrap all that and start shipping humans up to the Citadel.. apparently right near the arms control panel. Well that's convenient.
Also, everyone on the Citadel gets killed? Population, 13.2 million. An impressive feat considering they had to go door to door (the Citadel doesn't seem to be damaged). Wasn't there a Citadel defense force?
Arghhh this game hurts my brain.

Yeah, you know it made more sense in my brain while I was playing. Now it sort of doesn't add up. Add that to a growing list of things that didn't add up in the conclusion of this game.

If Cerberus-reaper augmented soldiers could nearly take the Citadel when in disarray, don't you think a Reaper force could take it?

Citadel Citizen: "Who's there?"
Harbinger: "YOUR SALVATION THROUGH GIRL SCOUT COOKIES"
Citadel Citizen: "Oooh! Thin mints!" *opens door and gets grabbed*
Harbinger: *Cackles* Thin mints, the true method of indoctrination.

Take it, yes. Kill the Council, sure. Kill everyone on it in what appears to be less than a day? No. Well, maybe. I guess they could turn off the air? But I'm sure some people would have space suits etc. But, to be honest, that was more of a side thought.
My main issue is "why is there a giant always on teleporter to the Citadel conveniently located on the ground when there is absolutely no reason to have one there?"
