Hey guys, I'm about 26 or so hours into the game, and about to do the Priority mission on Thessia. All the weapons I use have been upgraded to V, but I don't have any options to bring them up higher. I kinda thought this was more than halfway into the game.

My question: will VI-X be unlocked after a little bit more progression in the story or do I have to buy ALL the weapons I-V (including the ones I never used so I never bought the upgrades) or something else to unlock VI-X?

I played through and the highest I saw was V

NG+ does bring them up to X by either buying the upgrades or finding the weapons but if you have them upgraded to V and find the weapon again in the game you can have them auto upgrade then

ok that makes sense... *imagins Widow X* ... ok Im drooling now as much as I have big issues with the last 5 min of the story I love the updated weapon system and gameplay

The Prothean Energy Weapon is pretty much god-like with ammo upgrade and damage upgrade at V.

try it at lvl X > i always keep an AR user with me and use it my self just so i can hear the nice POP sound the enemy makes when they die >
