There have been a few times in SIngle Player, usually durring cutschenes the sound will cut out entirely.  After the scene however the sound comes back.  Now twice in multiplayer it has cut out, first coming back after the wave was over, the second however it crashed to desktop.  Anyone else having this or know anything about it?

Some cutscenes are video files, it may be you don't have a codec for those. But the video files are just video so the audio must be seperate.

Or it could be for some reason when it plays the vids it makes your game go out of focus therefore cutting off sound.

The cutscenes are not the video ones that I'm having a problem with, and the multiplayer is the more concerning one. Had it happen again. This time it didn't come back after the wave, it didn't come back until I went to the Main Menu, and then it cut out again.

ah, i've some audio issues but never the one you mention. Often i have to restart the game entirely because i have no audio at all ( no background music even before the game connects to EA) . After a restart, it's fine. So i got some little bug between the game and my hardware but it's no biggie.

With further testing it seems to just be game sound. Voice over multiplayer seems to work fine when it cuts, just no ingame sound...

My sound cuts out but only under two different circumstances:
1. if I alt-tab out of the game and back into it quickly, after starting a browser page that has sound (such as Pandora, Youtube, GrooveShark)

2. if I activate a set of bluetooth stereo headphones use them for a while and then deactivate them (power them off) and attempt to use the standard speakers again. [this one happens 100% of the time)
