OK, thanks. One more question-- is saving the Geth the Paragon choice whereas saving the Quarians the Renegade choice, or does it not add points to either side regardless of choice?

It'd be difficult to say, but Paragon is considered diplomatic / negotiation and Ren is usually "whatever the cost / sacrifice."

How do I destroy the geth squuadron? I did the Geth consensus and there's no option to destroy them at the end. Before that, after saving the admiral, I chose the option to kill them.

If it wasn't for the reapers launching war on us i would find a way to get rid of geth and quarians as nether group were interesting to begin with.
