I was honestly conflicted when the Salarians presented me with the option to lie to the Krogan. For both games before that, I was in favour of the Krogans getting their lives back.

Then I met Mordin. Mordin was probably one of my favourite characters. He was a little out there, but in his own sense, never seemed to lose his temper.

Throughout that mission in ME3, I kept quiet about the sabotage. That was, until I was alone with Mordin. Speaking to him about it, and the way he reacted when I asked him why he wanted to do it, suddenly my hesitance was wiped clean. With the mixture of Wrex telling me how it was an honour to fight by my side, and that, when I watched the ensuing explosion up in the building, I actually cried.

It's not many times that games really get me like that, so good on you Bioware writers. Wonderful jobs.

Aye, so much in this game is amazingly well done. I haven't had more fun playing a game in... well, ever. The ending is atrocious - but we shouldn't let that detract from how amazing the first, oh, 99% of the game is.

Yeah, that was a beautiful scene, though, when it comes to the ending, I'm still a little confused on that one. XD

The song he sings while he is there. The tremble in his voice because he is scared and knows he will die, but he perseveres. The fact that he does it to correct everything. Mordin is a god'amn hero.

I only wish Shepard would have shown that kind of spine telling the damn godchild to ****** off and Organics will beat the reapers without his so-called solution.

The scene was amazing along with the scene when you make peace with Geth and Quarians AND beat the  Reaper you feel like  there is damn glimmer of hope and then welll... the endings.  Can't let those ending ruin for what was great game... but damn talk about fumbling on the goaline.

Wreav is dumb so i took the opportunity to exploit it and get his support while betraying him and him being the idiot that he is and he doesn't even realize it its one of my favorite parts of the game.

Lol, maybe so. Still, it was an awesome scene. I was honestly conflicted, but after seeing all their art, etc, I started believing there was a glimmer of hope. Mordin definitely solidified that.

I agree that about 90% of the game is good. I didn't like the lack of companion interaction compared to the others. It would have been interesting to get more into the relationship side of things with Liara (especially since I played The Shadow Broker DLC), but it seemed like I had to start over. I was VERY disappointed by the lack of interaction with people like Jack, which I adored.

The endings, however, ruined the entire series for me. It was like watching the Godfather series when I was younger. You watch 1 and 2 and are blown away, then the 3rd... You felt like you were cheated, and can't watch them anymore because the 3rd is just SO bad compared to the other 2.

This was my favorite scene in the game.  I cried...but it was a good cry.  Too bad the end of the game made it all worthless.

Yesterday I was really excited to see my son get to this point.  Now I really don't care to see him experience it.  The ending has made the rest of the game too bitter to relive.

Yeah, the ending kind of diminished all of that, didn't it? I was with Tali though, and I really liked that relationship. Their bond was awesome.

Also, on a sidenote, Jack was actually hot this time. :P

I think everyone does... unless you're Kai Leng jaja.

I think, there should be an absolutely paragade option to tell Mordin to cure the genophage, and lie to the dalatrass, saying that the cure was just a set-up and getting both Krogan and Salarian support for the final battle... There's a renegade choice to have them both, but need to Kill Wrex on Virmire... and lying to a bunch of good friends as Wrex, Grunt and even Bakara it's just wrong.

Yeah, but that would be bad, because Wrex is the one who will unite his people, and make them less... stupid.

This game easily was the most emotional one I've ever played...by far. I don't think anything will ever compare: 3 games, 5 years invested in these characters. Everything up to and including your last talk with Anderson aboard the citadel was wonderful, beautiful.

A damn shame what came after.

The Genophage cure scene where Mordin even starts singing his scientist Salarian song...

Too much thought put in. watching Legion was even worse though.

Not to mention you can easily get your cake and eat it too. Just save the Salarian Councilor, and BOOM, nobody cares what the Dalatross thinks.
Frankly though, as much as I loved Wrex it was Bakara who convinced me that the cure was the right direction. A single Krogan against a tied of homicidal morons isn't going to do much good, even if he's as awesome as Wrex. The fact that Bakara made it absolutely clear that the females are sick of the status quo and will actively fight to improve their lot if what convinced me that they were ready for the cure.

Bakara? You mean the wife? I forgot her name.
