Yes or no, How Mass Effect 3 should have gone.

Galaxy: Reapers, $***!!!!

Shepard: I told you.

Galaxy: Save us!?

Shepard: Damn it...*Unites Galaxy*

Reapers: Crucible, $***!!!

Shepard proceeds to make it to the citadel, blows the hell out of every living reaper in the galaxy and then retires...

END SCENE: Garrus picks up drink on a beach of an island that shepard owns now, somewhere on earth. Garrus walks over to where all remaining party members are laughing and talking and enjoying the new day. Shepard raises his glass and toasts **Decision point for the toast**. Shepard is standing next to your love choice from the series that you persued this game. Either Ashley, Miranda, Tali, or any of the other possible romance lines you could have taken throughout the series. Possible kid on the way maybe..idk...fade to black...

End Credits: Flash across the entire galaxy showing the species working together, rebuilding, and moving forward in the the bright future that Shapard has secured for the galaxy.

No BS greater meaning to the reapers...they were wrong and not part of some bull**** greater plan, they arnt on the other side of the equals sign they just die! PERIOD. Why in the hell do gaming companies keep sacrificing the heroes!??? damnit Shepard worked hard and DIED once for this F******* war give him a break...but noooo...there has to be some greater purpose to it all...we can't go with an ending that would have been great...

Alternate ending, Shepard takes over the universe with the reapers for shear spite of galactic stupidity. Leading us all into a new age of prosperity and peace and whenever someone acts up, they get B!*** Slapped by a Sovreign class reaper. Perfection at its finest.

I can't wait for the How It Should Have Ended video of this game.

Also bother me that afaik, theres no way to make your romance offical (like get married or bondmated w/e) Would be so cool to see my shep get down on one knee infront of Liara and pop the question.

Anyway in my ending (which were lame btw) Shepard survives so I can atleast headcanon him meeting up with Liara on w/e planet they crashed on and have all my blue mini Liara/Sheps :)

Kinda disagree. They ended ME 1 with Shepard walking away triumphant with a smile on his face. He knew he had won and kicked ass. They ended ME2 with Shepard telling TIM to get stuffed and Shepard walked away with the same smile.

They could have blown up the galaxy, killed his LI, destroyed the Relays, but if they included a scene with Shepard walking with that smile at what few survivors that were left, it would have been enough.

O and for gods sake WHY DID THE RELAYS GET DESTROYED!!!!!!!!??????? Mass Effect more like Massively dissapointing cause you guys got lazy at the end effect. I dealt with the lack of choices in dialogue do to the first 2 games and that most of your choices should have been made by now i mean come on...the game spans what...5 or 6 years of sheps life...anyways..the ending I really expected bioware to not go along with the trend of killing the protagonist but they didnt and now everyone hates what they did do...I really wish bioware had gone to some fans and been like...how should mass effect end...guarantee that 95% of answers would have included...Reapers die, shepard gets married, shepard live happily ever after..Like I feel bad for shepard...think about it..if you were him would you have taken one of the catalysts choices? cause my answer to that bratty little PITA would have been...um, yea I thought about it and heres what were gonna do.

Paragon Shep: your going to take the reapers to another galaxy because by you harvesting every cycle you feed the chaos and set the example that races follow of synthetics killing organics and vice versa..look at the geth and the quarians working together now...it can last give us a chance..

Renegade Shep: my answer is FU, **Shoots catalyst in the head (cause he is shepard)** **takes control of reapers and doesnt die (because hes shepard)** **sends the reapers into the nearest black hole(because he's shepard)** and then flies the citadel back to the serpent nebula and declares himself God (because hes shepard)**

Like I even thought they might pull it off when the kid showed up at the catalyst and was like "By being the first organic to be here you have shown my solution" up to that point I was like aaaa BEAST shepard wins..."no longer works." WHAT!? nooooo...damn it bioware...

cause if the catalyst had just said "my solution is no longer needed." the game would have been perfect and they would have tied the stupid kid in as the catalyst...

While the ending was very depressing, I still found the ending very good. I do wish there was more of a follow up. I also had a problem where I ended the game with Liara and Javik (the prothean) on my team, everyone on the ground was supposed to have died from Harbinger, yet somehow Liara and Javik got off the Normandy on the new planet with Joker. I don't understand how Liara and Javik, having been blasted to hell with me, were unharmed, and got off the Normandy, yet everyone who was not with me when we got blasted to hell was on the Normandy. Some amount of follow up would have been nice as well, seeings how the fleets of every space-faring species is now left in Sol, without access to the Mass Relays. The use of the epilogue after the credits was a good way to allow the ending to sink in. Still, I think an ending doesn't have to be happy to be good.

Come back to me shepard.

Sorry LIs, I can't. Bioware said I'm not allowed to be happy in any way and have no reward for all the work I did.

at least they could have let tell that brat he was WRRRRROOONNNNNG. Dear lord I wanted tell him that so badly. I don't mind the higher purpose greater meaning type endings but with those there is always a lesson that the writers wants to impart. The problem with any of these endings is that they are leave more questions than answers. Especially about the nature and basis for the kids argument. They played Deus Ex:Human Revolution but failed to realize what made those endings work was the debate with Darrow at the end and the others through out the game. So the tried to rip off and fail in that... when the did not even have to do the frame work for what they wanted was there.

You know what would ****** me off but make this hilarious..is if they released a patch that took it to the ending but right before you decided, shepard wakes up on the normandy before the final battle and then my ending persues...be a major troll from bioware...this game was a total troll from bioware though...and they make such great games why do they have to be cool and try and end it all trippy...just end it the way the audience wants..WE ARE ALREADY INVESTED IN THE GAME IF WE ARE STILL BUYING THE 3RD DAMN ONE come on!
