People! Comment on this so they don't forget and brush it under the rug. This is unacceptable and I am not playing this game until they fix it. If it takes too long, I will also get a refund for this product as I consider it to be defective at this point.
When will a patch to correct the facial import be released?

I'm waiting for a patch too, for facial import bug AND the Hanar Diplomat bug. Also, ALL patches NEED to be retroactive! When Dragon Age 2 came out, none of their patches were retroactive, it was basically "oh you put 30 hours into the game? too bad, start over".

I'm with you Darth, I'm refusing to even START the game until this is patched. I know it might seem like an insignificant annoyance to some, but to me it's stopping me from playing a game I've been waiting 2 years for. I'm happy they at least acknowledged the problem, but an ETA on the patch would really go a long way for a lot of people.

I'm in the same boat. I was extremely excited when my copy got here only to discover that I couldn't play through the game with the character I've been using since ME1,
That such a glaring bug in probably the most heavily-advertised feature (taking a character through all three games) slipped through playtesting is already pretty bad. That it's taking this long to patch it is even worse.

I love Bioware...but maybe next time don't spend so much time and money tying copies of your game to weather balloons and making 4 different CGI trailers and use those resources to triple check issues that could arise after launch...not cool guys.

I have a feeling when they test the game thru beta and testing they use default fem and male shepard its the only way I see them missing this. This was the only thing I've seen courtesy of silicon Drifter 82 http://www.cinemable...rked-40197.html so ill guess well see

How do you miss something like this? Really is unacceptable, if you were a new comer you'd not notice, but because I've been loyal to BioWare and bought every game I'm penalised! I understand you need new people, but not at the expense of your core market!
Last BioWare game I buy at launch, for Dragon Age 3 I think I'll leave it until is discounted and bugs have been fixed!
Extremely poor show, won't be getting my vote for Publisher of the Year.

I am, unfortunately, under the belief that only a save editor will be a useful means of importing a "corrected" face into an existing save file. I am, of course, assuming that converting head morphs extracted from Mass Effect 2 saves into Mass Effect 3 is feasible.

I agree 100%, my patience is starting to run thin. I want a patch so I can play ME3 as MY Shepard and I want it NOW.

Same here. Playing a separate file until its fixed and I can start my main Shepard.
