The worst part for me was the explanation given by the Catalyst that galactic civilizations would always be plagued by war, between organics and organics, between organics and synthetics, so ... the best option was to completely separate all societies from each other, forever? Sitting here I called bull****. I cured the krogan and had Wrex and Bakara as their leaders. I brokered peace between quarian and geth. My Shepard proved that galactic civilization could be peaceful, could FUNCTION. And I wasn't given the choice to ensure that it would CONTINUE to function.

That, to me, was the most upsetting part.

Same here.  I mean, theoretically, you could have ended the chaos (synthesis), or proven that all life (control) or at least organic life (destroy) deserves the chance to try and evolve beyond it, but none of that is said or shown.

You're basically asked to place a bet, and the game doesn't even make it clear what you're betting on, nor does it have the decency to tell you or even hint whether you won or lost.

You don't spend hundreds of dollars and dozens of hours on a blind dice roll.

I would at least like to know what happened to the rest of my squad. An epilogue if you will... that way, I would at least know how the rest of the squad carried on with their life. I guess I could simply make believe... but I've kinda lost that ability :X

Yeah, I 100% agree with this, too. Being the end of the Shepard story, it should have had an option to "ride into the sunset" like most of Bioware's previous games.

Honestly, the games were all about the characters, and that has to be the main goal of any writer: to get readers or viewers invested in the characters' stories, otherwise it's just background noise. If nobody was meant to, then the games should have been pure shooters with no dialogue or backstory...

Even if it's boilerplate, the 'happy' option should have been there, otherwise it feels like totally trashing that investment (especially those characters around for all 3 games.) Perhaps they were looking to avoid that because it's typical, but it's typical for a good reason in my opinion.

*Sigh* Games, srs biznis. ヽ( 。 ヮ゚)ノ

I don't even know what to do with my emotions at reading that tweet right now. I know every part of me should feel betrayed and angry and hurt at BioWare and yet those ~140 characters were enough to make me sit up and think

WHAT

OKAY I'LL HOLD ON TO IT

I really liked the endings.

I really should stop coming to the Bioware forums; I'm always in the minority of things when I do. D:

And I thought the little scene after the credits was sweet, too. I remain excited for future installments in this universe.

Be thankful you're in the minority. Most people here wanted Disney in Space.

troll better please.

No, not again. I am NOT letting my hopes rise until I've god something concrete.

I'd rather have a pleasent surprise then a deavastating one.

I liked some of the stuff in the endings, but there was a lot about the endings that sucked. And I'll admit - I wanted Disney in Space and to adopt Krogan babies. My Shep would've shoved so many Krogan d*cks up the reaper's ass after what Garrus said to her.

Edit: unless disney means something I don't understand here, that is...

It kills me that they aren't saying anything. Here's to hoping the secret ending is better and that Gamble isn't screwing with our heads. I need hope!

The thought entered my mind that it could be a vengeance against the fanbase for the whole Hepler thing.. I mean it actually physically hurt to witness those endings. But I doubt bioware would do that, I think they had a vision and a direction for the end..but it was very poorly executed and the entire premise for the endings is just... Stupid.
I'm sorry bioware, I feel tricked, I feel like you built up the endings and then punched me in the gut to see what my face would look like. the only reason I'm playing again is that I was able to come up with my own ending and overcome your's. How pathetic is that? I had to trick myself to avpid hating the whol series.

Seriously bioware, your series was a solitary light in a world going straight to helll for me and plenty of your other fans. DLC endings that end it the way it should have ended. I would pay 80 dollars again for it. Call me pathetic, or a bootlicker, I don't care. My investment in this series deserbes more than... Whatever the hell those endings were.

MP DLC nothing more...

But seriously, yes it is hope but it still pains me that I have to wait MONTHS to see if they are going to give me a proper ending. Heres why I think there will be DLC because the dumb kid asked for another story about "the Shepard", whatever the **** that means I dont know. That doesnt mean it will be Post-game DLC, it could be just extra side missions.

I really cant hang on to hope right now, I'm too beaten and broken down, I need concrete proof that they will fix this mess. Because if they do, while I'll still be upset my faith will be restored in BioWare and I would just give them a big hug. If they dont I'll punch them in the gut like Admiral Gerrel and tell them to get the hell out of my life.
