*sigh* can you peeps at least get it right that it's likely to be 1.02 not 1.2?
A good reader can intrepret mistakes without misinterpretation. Yes, technically it will likely be 1.02 or perhaps 1.1. But truely, don't tell me you didn't understand that

Yes, we can. Its just a simple example of internet ass-hattery.
Bioware, stop making games that eat my life!
First, the KoToR games, now this one!

The hotfix also makes enemie's archery become better, which is kinda too good already. And it's been quite some time for them to fix it, and last thursday one of the devs posted that 1.2 was in final stages of testing. That is why I'm asking...
If that's an issue, here is a mod which alters only daggers and leaves archery unchanged.

I'm hoping it comes soon, this game shipped with WAY to many issues.....
I've seen worse. This pales in comparsion of some games I've seen that been shipped sometimes.
Anyone remember 'Vampire - The Masquerade, Bloodlines'. Now that was a broken RPG ^^ and the travisty, the company supporting it went bust before it officially patched.

especially if 90 % of the team are working on new DLC that will bring in more money for EA opposed to a patch that will make the game more enjoyable for all players but...no money = no priority.Excirial wrote...
I would be surprised if it was released so soon. Software development cycles usually take much longer then a couple of days - you could of course use the hotfix to fix the daggers and shortbows.
Look at the bright side, at least you were able to spend money directly at launch to get the "full" game and there is much more to come.AlmostTactful wrote...

90% of the team that are working on DLC are level designers, graphics artists, sound artists, etc.
Would you really want to take the 2 actual programmers off the DLC team and add them to the 10 that are already on the bugfixing team, so that the rest of the DLC team can't do anything anymore until they're back? Now THAT would be smart allocation of resources.

Well yes, I would. I would take two people from working on something not so important to work on something that most game owners are waiting for. I will not buy any new DLC till the game is patched and I think I am not going to be alone.
