I connect to the EA servers fine, I have little if any lag or other issues as a host or simply as a member of a game. Without fail, I disconnect after approx 20 minutes in nearly every multiplayer game. It has pretty much ruined the game for me as it's nearly impossible to get any cash. I have an N7 rating of 22 despite having played for many, many hours, and in that time I've probably made 30k credits combined.
Now, I've seen this issue discussed on the EA forums and here, and the advice (if any response is given at all) is nearly uniformly terrible, so just to be clear:
1. I am not disconnecting from the internet, I have a wired DSL connection, I have no lag, when I see the 'communicating' icon in the corner, I immediately check. I have had no connection issues, I can tab into origin and use the web browser quite fine, so it isn't even a disconnect with Origin. I have played The Old Republic for hours at a time without the slightest hint of lag or disconnect.
2. I have tried the incredibly obvious solutions such as 'reinstalling Origin' etc
3. I am 99.99% sure this is a time issue. It always happens after a set amount of time in game, I can't find any reason to think I would have a connection issue EVERY TIME at the same moment, so it clearly seems to come from Origin, or the EA servers.
So, I'm pretty much at my wits end. I've bought essentially every Bioware game to ever be released, and never had any serious issues like this, but as great as the multiplayer is it's essentially unplayable. If I play with my friends we can clear Bronze in time before I drop, but in public games or silver and gold I'm inevitably doomed to losing all of the credits, and the XP if I can't reconnect in time.
I realize this issue seems to be effecting a relatively small number of players, and thus is probably not a high priority, but simply hearing that it was being looked into, or being given a solution that might possibly help, rather than getting insulting advice like "make sure you have an active internet connection" (and yes, this seems to be the most common suggestion from any support person) would mean a lot.

Got the same problem as mentioned before. This really starts to go on my nerves. Support only tells me I should try port forwarding. Fact is i never experienced any disconnect due to my wireless connection on any multiplayer platform. So why do i get them while playing ME3(singelplayer or multiplayer)?
Did you try it though? Better to try anything support says, even if you are convinced that it wont work, or that you shouldn't need to. That way you can at least rule out options with 100% certainity.
And bump.

I did but it didn't help. Still getting disconnects while playing.

Clearing temp files (enter %temp% into your "run" prompt) works for me. I just have to do it every time.
I will try that and see how that works!

Same here, clearing the cache didn't reduce it at all. I hope they can make us get our coins when disconnecting!

Thought I'd give my own experience here in detail.

This post describes in detail the same problem I've been having, though I do sometimes manage to make it through a longer game. The longest I've seen so far is 24 or 26 minutes on Silver, and that's from today. I've had fewer disconnect issues from the full game than I did during the demo (that was practically unplayable at times), but it's still ridiculous to have that many server disconnects.
Not sure if it helps any, but EVERY time I get disconnected it's from the ME3 server (so I'm dropped all the way to the main menu), not just the multiplayer session. This is especially obnoxious if you're trying to host a game, because your fellow players can't be sure that you didn't abandon them, but so far no one seems to have denied a game with me due to the instability issue.

Trying to enter the escape menu will almost invariably crash the game for me as well, and more often then not when I do manage to complete a match I get disconnected before the rewards screen pops up, and I still lose everything.
This is a real bummer to me, since the multiplayer is the only part of this game that's still appealing to me.

Have you tried using your computer at a friends place where they can play Mass Effect 3 online without problems?
If you have, did it fix the problem or did it persist there aswel?
If the problem didn't show at another place with your computer, safe to say point finguers at your ISP/Router as some disconnections are caused by them losing small ammounts of packets.
- You also mentioned MMO's working fine, most of these games are more "tolerant" of minor packet loss.
If the problem did show up at your friends place on your computer, it's safe to assume the problem is your computer based. Wether it is hardware, configuration or driver issue is now down.
Hopefully "obviously" narrowing down a problem will fix it as in theory if this was a EA/BioWare issue, the numbers having a simmilar issue would be much larger.
@Streaming comparrisons - Most video streams pre-buffer a chunk and play live streams in a small delay so even if there's a small ammount of packetloss the time allows it to be fixed. If streams were closer to TV broadcasts, you would be able to spot such dcs there in a easier facion.
