A friend told me that in his game Tali committed suicide. I almost started crying and I'm not even a Talimancer.

Good Lord, his character was really starting to get interesting! I mean, he's always been a great character, but you get to the end of that mission and you're thinking, "This is great! Legion is finally a singular, intelligent being! We're gonna have the best conversations!" But no.And all those signs that he was actually starting to feel basic human emotions... it was so heartbreaking to watch him die.
Does he still die if you achieve peace between the Geth and the Quarians? It was so sad having to kill him.
Legion: "Does this... unit... have...?"
Tali: " Yes..."

Even though I didn't give a crap about the boy dying at the beginning, I still thought the dream sequences were really well done. The haunting voices of all the characters I got killed...plus the image of the boy and Shepard burning at the end. Awesome.
Yeah the dreams were well done. Hearing Zaeed, Eve, Jack, Samara, Mordin, Kolyiat, and I forget the others I heard was positively haunting.

Unfortunately, yes. But Tali lives.

Yes.
The worst part is, as EDI points out later, that he says "I'm sorry" rather than "We're sorry." He was finally a complete being just before he died.
I haven't taken the route of killing Legion yet. With the peace option, Legion reminds Tali of the question that started the whole war: Does this unit have a soul? Just before Legion joins the rest of the geth, Tali says to him, "The answer to your question... It was yes." And he says, "I know."

Haha, I had a feeling those would be a lot more interesting if more people had actually died in my game. Played pretty strict paragon and saved everyone that I could, which ended up amounting to my Shep just kind of wandering around in a creepy dream-forest in silence. XD

Yes.He says something about not being able to upload the code completely, and the only way to finish it is to "join them." Afterwards, a geth prime tells you that he's dead, but that he will be honored among geth.

I wasn't able to get peace. Forced to destroy the Geth or Quarians. I think I missed a gew Citadel quests.

Another incredibly sad (but easily missed moment) is when you're on Rannoch looking for Admiral Koris (or was it Gerrel?), you pass by the last of his civilian fleet and there's only one Quarian survivor. He then asks you to "tell Jonah that [he] saw the homeworld". If you remember Tali's loyalty mission on the Alarai, there's a vid with a Quarian woman's final message saying "Jonah, mommy loves you very much!" Jonah's an orphan now. I was sobbing.
Mordin's death made me sob, definitely, but I have to say... My Kaidanmance Shep gave me the absolute worst case of sobbing like a **** I've ever experienced when they spoke in London. Hale's deliverance of her lines when she orders Kaidan to meet her when it's all over... I had to pause the game for a good five minutes because I was weeping.

See, I had no idea who the voices were or what they were saying when I was in that dream sequence. I guess I had the bass up to high on my headset.

The Legion/Tali conversation did it for me. My eyes were watering and I was telling myself "You will NOT cry while playing a videogame."
Play every MGS game, and then try not to cry at the end of MGS4. I dare you.

Getting an email that basically told me Kal Reegar died. He didn't even get screen time and he went out a hero.
The way he went out it was touching, him giving his life to save some Krogan. Reeger is my favortie Qurian he will be missed. I'm sad to say he never got to see the home World.
