Please TALK TO US
Please EXPLAIN why you thought this was a good idea and then...
Please tell us how you are going to FIX IT.
The longer you are silent Bioware, the more and more alienated and upset your customers and fans will be and the more and more your entire company will suffer for it.

Pretty much what the title says. Your fanbase is bleeding on the floor suffering. This current ending is inexcusable and while silence may be easy, it is alienating you from your customers and fans.

When it comes to the endings I'm pretty sure most people wanted the choice, you know that thing that was touted as being central to what Mass Effect 3 was going to be, of a "Disney Ending". They wanted to be able to lose to the reapers due to their action or inaction. They wanted their effort, their choices, the alliances they made or broke to matter to the conclusion of their Shepard's story.
Hell, when my Shepard was talking to Liara and she mentioned just flying off to a corner of the galaxy and just letting things happen so they could spend their last days in peace. I legitimately thought there would be an option to comment on that saying that maybe it wasn't such a bad idea. My Shepard would never take that option because running from the fight and leaving everyone else to fail is not something in his blood. But the option would be there.
With all the problems in the world why are the current endings the only options? People understand that war is hell and sacrifice is necessary, bad things happen to good people. Everyone gets that, but to eliminate the hope of having that happy ending. The removal of your control to achieve what you wanted to happen to your Shepard is pretty...dirty in my eyes.
But hell, what do I know. I'm just one man. One voice in a cacophony of others.

It really is a shame, because this game is fantastic. It felt like they took a wrecking ball to their own masterpiece.
It doesn't have to be a Disney ending, but even a French movie ending with the heroine drowning herself in despair would have been a more upbeat ending than what we got.

I'm on my second play through and I actually feel better. Now that I know what's coming, I can 'rationalize' the ending and just get past it. I still want a better ending, but I can at least play the game again now.

At the very least, a "we goofed and we're sorry" will do. Even if this is exactly how they wanted to end the trilogy (and they're damn proud of it), they really owe it to the fans to at least address all the bad feelings.
And no, this isn't fan entitlement talking. They initiated a dialogue with their fans, and they need some good PR right now.

the problem is not the Downer tone of the ending the problem with the endings at in my eyes. Is that there is no solution to the core conflict and the conflict is never defined. The Catalyst says that its to keep Orangics from advancing so far that they would create Synthetics and destroy themselves. The issue with that is through the resolution of the Geth and Quarian Conflict... that line of thought is disproven . The Creators going to war with there Progeny...well we have Thane and Kolyat, Ashley and her fater, Wrex and Jocobs elation over being parents. Of course the counter to this is Miranda. The ending no matter how you look at them are mess... its going to take more than some epilogue slides to fix that... The end game is kind of a mess... thematically and story telling wise...
The question I keep asking myself is what was the point the Bioware was trying to with the whole Catalyst?

Even if you don't agree with that, please TALK to us. Please help us understand and explain or failing that please tell us how you plan to make it right.
The longer this goes on, the worse and worse the damage will get. Given the state of modern digital communications, the damage to Bioware as a company may soon be irreperable. Please talk to us before that happens.
