I used the terminal thingy on presedium embassies then the icon for it isn't going away and also i keep on trying to click on it but nothing happens, Is it glitched or do I need to do something else?
Is the Hanar diplomat quest glitched?

It's glitched, reload a save from just before that and do not move at all when you interact with the junction.
Also, the next few junctions are probably spread out on the rest of the station judging by a later similar quest

It's not glitched so much as it doesn't visually update properly.
Just go to the other stations and look for things to click.

Did you authorize access to the terminals at the Spectre Office?

yes

There is a potential second glitch relating to this that occurs when you access the terminal and then go to the Spectre office, if this occurs and it is authorized out of order, it apparently is rendered inaccessible.

I reckon mine's glitched out, the second terminal won't show up, I have no idea where it is.

You don't need to restart, just skip it.

So just so I know for future playthroughs, we should go to the spectre terminal first then the other terminals?

I can't interact with the first terminal at all. No red circle marker appeared. Some people said to skip to the 2nd one. Checked the terminal on the refugee area (where Garrus is), also no interaction marker. Is this quest timed? I'm gonna skip it til they patch it i guess but if it's timed, i'll have no such luck. I'm heading to meet the diplomats (2nd priority mission).

Quest is timed. I failed it when I did Priority Citadel 2.
I think you go to Spectre terminal, then first terminal then don't move at all during that part of the game then it should work properly apparently?

Just reporting I had the a similar glitch. Talked to the Salarian, turned on tracking at the terminal, went to the first terminal but after I clicked on it and listened to the conversation the blue marker just stayed over the terminal, like I hadn't clicked it. It even showed up through the walls when I was on other floors of the citadel. I have left and come back and now the marker is gone but I cannot click on the next terminal down in the docking bay although my map does say "terminal" like I should be able to do something to it.

I have the same problem. The quest is still active but won't let activate the other terminals.

I completed it. Couldn't find the second terminal, left citadel, then docked again, and found it while walking around.

The quest glitches if you accept any other quests after you accept it.
Terminals wont light up and you cant interact with them.
Loading saves sometimes fixes it.
Sometimes.
Didnt for me, I had to just skip the whole thing

I know that the developers at Bioware look at these forums, so I ask this as an avid fan of Bioware and Mass Effect to PLEASE address the issues with the Hanar Dipolomat glitch as well as the Aria: Eclipse glitch.....In regards to the Hanar thing I did other side quests while that was still active and because of that, it has glitched out and prevented me from getting the rewards from completing the Hanar quest (and they are significant, but I don't want to spoil it for anybody). As for the Aria: Eclipse Mission, if we get the other leader (the Salarian) to lead the group, we have to quickly run to the elevator in order for Bailey to contact you and eventually complete the mission. I do not believe, you the developers intended for us to run to the elevator to complete the mission because there are other players who took their time getting to the elevator in the refugee camp on the Citadel and the mission glitched for them.
I also think that the Journal needs a MAJOR revamp back to the Mass Effect 2 version, so we can have a detailed description on where to go for each side quest....every mission in ME2 had subsequent info to the main side quest or mission and it updated when you did certain steps....I know you guys are implementing the new strategy to note important people on the maps, but that only highlights important people (previous crew-mates, etc)....it does not highlight side quest people who you need to drop off items to or anything.....Please, I am asking as an avid fan of this series and Bioware itself, implement a patch to fix these two side quests and the other missions that are frustrating your constituency of gamers.....Again, the Aria:Eclipse side-quest as well as the Hanar: Diplomat quests need to be fixed asap. I know you are all busy working on a new ending since a lot of other gamers have complained....while I haven't completed the game (and I hope no one spoils it for me)....I am asking and not ranting or raging at the glitches....I know the hard work that is put into games such as Mass Effect...I just hope you guys are working on a patch. Thank you.
