Nope, he has cut scene power to the max.

God I hate him, every time he is on screen its like bioware is trolling me.

Wait, so even if I'm a Vanguard, I can't just simply use a BIOTIC CHARGE on Kai Leng after I pick myself up from the rubble? WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH THESE L5nx IMPLANTS?

I had him regenerating shields within seconds on my vanguard. I destroyed him so fast. It was insulting how meek Shepard seemed in cut scenes with him. Fricken space ninjas.

I'm guessing it's scripted because I was completely handing his butt to him, and he simply called an air strike.

I read his Dossier. They forgot to mention his love for candy apple nail polish and the movie Grease.

Sounds like Kai Leng was my long lost brother.

I still don't regret sticking that omni-blade in his chest though.

Well is it possible to save thessia at all? O.o

No. The Asari have had it too good for too long. They wanted to sit on their little blue butts while every other world burned. My care-jar's all empty when it comes to Thessia.

Dont forget they also sat on their blue butts with all that prothean info. had they told us when we went to talk to the council maybe we could have saved some lives

I am usually pargon, but yeah, in very rare instances you just gotta go renagade. Cant continue being a nice person if your dead.

Hell no!
After discovering how selfish and hypocrite the asari really are, I wanted to burn the planet myself.

I really enjoyed the fall of Thessia, i thought it added a big "Oh...no..." to the game, a feeling of loss and hopelessness as well as ramping up my dislike for Leng.

Even though he got a good death (renegade option), i still think there should've been a moment like with Balak in Bringing down the sky...

You can't kill him to the Cerberus Base.

THEN you can REALLY whoop him. (Take the rene interupt!)

The fall of Thessia was saddening. Letting Kai Leng escape was aggravating. I was glad to have gutted him with my omni-blade on Cronos Station (when I read about him in Mass Effect: Retribution, I thought, if I was a soldier, I would want him gruesomely killed and called a disgrace to the uniform).

Most satisfying renegade interrupt ever.

This part hurt the most.  I got that he had script immunity, but losing Liara's homeworld after setting out to save it was, frankly, horrible.  And the scene after when Shepard has to tell the asari councilor, is worse...

agreed I didn't even care about Kai Leng. I was heart broken about Thessia, especially after seeing the Krogan celebrate the genophage cure and taking out the reaper on Rannoch.

KL has "plot shields" in the Thessia battle.

He has plot shields in every battle. For a space ninja, he's pretty ****made.
