I want to hope, I want to believe. But how can I? No, not after what they did.

Please Bioware, I want to love your game. Please let me.

Honestly I'm just going to edit out the video of the Normandy crashing, and pretend it didnt happen.

I have the feeling that if it's nothing but pre-mission DLC, their sales won't be too great.

If you had asked me after DA2, I would have said have faith in the Bioware devs. They have something planned for DLC it'll all work out. I would be the optimist.

After, ME3...unless the ending is changed I have lost all faith in Bioware and I will not support any of their current of future projects (including SWTOR).

I sincerely hope they come through for us. But I'm not pumping myself up again like I did for ME3 only to end with that devastating disappointment. I love the BioWare games, and I don't want this to be the way the Mass Effect series ends.

I want to mod my game replacing the ending movie with a rickroll.

It would be a huge improvement.

I will buy nothing from them until I get a better ending. If they had planned something like this, they should announce it immediately. People are just going to get angrier.

I have seen many LOYAL fans say they aren't buying another thing from Bioware because of this. How could no one in that office anticipate this??

It's probably just some extra multiplayer crap that nobody cares about...but hope springs eternal.

Seriously, a happier/new endings would be great! I can't even touch any of the ME series right now. Sadly, this is a longshot. hopefully Bioware will listen to its fans, and release a patch or DLC. For some reason I feel like that Twitter post is something totally different though. I guess only time will tell.

WHY DON'T YOU LET ME YOU LOVE YOU BIOWARE, WHY?!

Sorry man no disrepect but reading that I got an image of a man weeping outside their headquarters in the rain.

I do understand where you're coming from. Everyone wants to believe, the only question is what Bioware is going to do. Almost as interesting as the main plot of the games. If they are going to amend the endings they need to announce that fact ASAP, the longer people are in the dark the longer they are going to grow in their own doubts.

You realize this is a long shot right?

It's more of a shot than we had before. And let's be honest - Bioware has a long-standing tradition of listening to fans when it comes to the Mass Effect series.

True...but I'd rather be pessimistic. That way I'll be pleasantly surprised if it turns out to be what we're asking for. Besides, I was incredibly hopeful for Mass Effect 3 and that ending hurt me so much inside I was lying in my bed at 4am in the morning trying to sleep but I just couldn't because I hated it so much (I ended up not sleeping).

I did this, except i was crying...though i did fall asleep.

Aaaaaand here comes the $10 DLC for the "real" ending.

Sad part is....I'll buy it...

If they tried to charge people for  the good endings I think they'd lose more than they would gain. I can't beleive they would do that.

No joke, so did I. It was like a bad dream or something. Shortly before that I was posessed by khorne or something when I found out about these..."endings"...

Agreed. It's much more likely that Bioware is just going to release Omega or other pre-completion DLC.

I've only seen one or two reviews that discuss the disappointing endings for ME3, and until that information is more widely circulated, I doubt Bioware is going to respond.

Even if they do respond, i'd expect something simliar to a Dragon Age 2 response. "We support our writers and developers decision to end the trilogy." Or, "We've spoken to many of our fans who say that they love the choices we've made available to close out the trilogy."

"We decided to go in a new art style and direction, not everyone is going to like it, but a lot of people do".

The only way that they can fix this is to completely negate the final battle not just the last 5 mins of dialog. One of the core problems with the way that they ended things is that the importance of building your fleet and uniting the galaxy is lost. The pace of the story masks this but the more time you are giving to think about what the game actually was in the end the more dissatisfying it becomes.

They aren't going to fix the game unless they have DLC that completely re-writes the ending from the start of re-taking earth on. And put in a system like how ME2 ended where you have to assign task and carry out a strike plan. The decisions that you made shape what you are capable of accomplishing. It wont happen - they wont do that.

We are going to get a side story with more info about reaper origins or something like at which point I will pass. Even though I bought all the other addons. This ending killed the franchise.  I will laugh so hard if its multiplayer based deathmatch.

yeah. If it were ever "planned" that you couldn't get the best ending in a game without dumping another 160 bucks on DLC I would be finding my torch and pitchfork.

Ill buy an ending DLC, or a DLC that has some kind of epilogue, but if they aren't planning on doing either of those I'll save my pennies and just not assume bioware games actually have a writing staff.. I ducked on Dragon age 2 as I'm a little fed up with fantasy, but if this is what the DA2 people got.. well.. I think ill wait for a new studio to pop up. which is a total shame.

I thought of the RickRoll too!  I thought that would have been much more satisfying and much less painful.  I could have respect for Bioware is we just got RickRolled.  Aha, the new RickRoll--getting Mass Effected.

I personally won't be buying any MP packs at all as I didn't like it during the demo, I didn't like it when the game came out days ago, and I won't like it next week.
I play ME for the story, not horde mode.
