I know Bioware probably has it rough right now, what with that recent personal attack on one of their staff and the massive negative response to the endings (as a side note, I did not like the endings, I ****ing LOVE this game up to the last part of the ending...) and I really really hope that the producer is being straight with us. And that it won't cost us the price of the game AGAIN. I already paid almost 90$ after taxes for this game
So I'll keep my fingers crossed and wait to see what happens.

If it's not better then LotSB, it's not worth it.

Can't say I feel bad for the devs. They *chose* this. There was plenty of grief and sacrifice throughout the course of the game, and then they slap down a Star Child plot device and 3 equally wretched, horrible endings that show everything you did was meaningless? No. They *chose* this. Kind of like the Sopranos writers feeling bad at how little people appreciated their ending. The game has absolutely zero replay value, even makes replaying the earlier 2 pointless.
Got to agree. Not only did it ruin what was a great game, but a great series. I have zero desire to not only replay through ME1 and 2, but I don't even want to play me3 as my renegade character. Its a darn shame too. Would be some fun replay value if there just wasn't terrible endings.

They're not listening. They think we don't count.
For the record, I don't hate ME at all -- I love it. I only hate the ending bit with that idiot kid robot and the inexplicable doom of the Normandy.

Maybe it was Buzz Aldrin? Maybe his experiences in space showed him the futility and insignificance of life, and he would only sign on to the project if no happy ending was given because humanity doesn't deserve one?
The point of fiction is to distract ourselves from the futility and insignificance of life.

Yeah man, we totally don't have a dozen reasons as to why these endings are fundamentally wrong when compared with the rest of the series. We just don't understand.
Give me a damn break.

Eh, that's one person's twitter feed, and responses from others who may or may not be BW employees. That's not to say they are listening beyond taking feedback from megathreads (which is, unfortunately, not always a detailed process...at some point you have to condense trends and ideas into something focused enough to present to those who make decisions), or that there is some godsend patch coming to fix or change the endings...
But lumping all of Bioware into one category because of a few responses on Twitter isn't exactly a productive action.

Neither is trusting them because of a few vague comments on Twitter -- ala the OP of this thread.

I have to admit, how they handle this will effect the way I view Bioware from here on out. Fingers Crossed that they own up to this "Hey, we see that we did it wrong, we wanted to make something different and artful but we can see clearly that it is not well received, for that we apologize. If the ME community will bare with us while we go back to the think tank and create something better that offers a more diverse outcome based on your choices."
Why would you want them to apologize? I just want in depth explanation about why they went about the ending how they did...like a commentary or something.
Prob will never get it...

Not a good sign.
I'll wait until Bioware releases an official statement, but things do god look good.
God damn it, you call down the thunder, now reap the whirlwind.

Making DLC for us would cost Bioware time and money. Yelling and threatening them will not give them incentive to do anything. If, however, the community acts with grace and maturity, the company is far more likely to listen to us.
This is why we as a community need to handle this situation carefully if we really want a resolution.

Agreed. This will determine if I ever touch a Bioware product again.
