Forums like this exist so fans can vent and criticize in an environment they feel comfortable in.On top of that your response to my post with the 'fake cry mwaaaaah' was wholely obnoxious and unnecessary, you could have just as easily made your point without it, but you opted for that option, and this is why I don't put stock in anything you say.

I liked the mako.
good to know im just saying to the people who demand bioware owe them something im gona call those fans out on there bs because they have in fact moaned about what i posted
go search around march 2011 you'll see what i mean
truth is fans are never happy
only thing is im the gutsy one to actually say it
the devs cant because it makes them look bad from a career standpoint
its easy to deny any involvment when you can just blame everything on ea or bioware sinc epeople dont want to take respocibility for there comments
I recommend we cease responding to this individual. It seems likely that he's young, and he's certainly uninterested in any position which does not permit him to feel superior.
It's nice that you're happy with the endings, Tazz, but you're not the arbiter of what is or is not appropriate criticism, nor have you been given authority to determine who is or is not a fan of this company. Have a great day.

I think the most of the things in Tazzmission's recital were peanuts and a matter of taste. Personally, I can deal with the mako and I like Dragon Age 2. But the ending from ME3 was and is a huge disappointment for me and I should be allowed to communicate this.Katsuya Kaiba wrote...

Hate to kill your spark, but Yahtzee the game reviewer said it long before you and I...disagree. I know ALOT of people who wanted more Garrus romantic interaction back in Mass Effect 2 and adored the new cutscenes in Mass Effect 3. I know at least one homosexual who was pleased and happy with Steve Cortez after being unable to romance nobody in the past two games.
You can make SOME fans happy, you just can't make them ALL happy.

I have to agree, there's no excuse for personal insults. And you're right, it's "only a game", but it's a great one, a uniqe trilogy, and it would be so wonderful if everybody could get a pleasing end. I can't just enjoy an adventure with such a sad end, so I'm trying to change this situation, but I wish not to harm other people.Tazzmission wrote...

now think on your question
what majority are we talking about? do we cater just strictly to old rpg fans or does a franchise try to do its best to cater to all types of fans?
because the way people are reacting on the board is they feel the ending should just be nothing but rpg
so does bioware cave to them and lose other fan bases?
as a fan of the lore and franchise mass effect is a series every gamer should play
hell i got maybe 10 people on a forum i used to post on to give me2 a go and they loved it and these guys were die hard uncharted and cod fans

My solution is to do a DLC, like Fallout 3's Broken Steel. If people don't want it, they don't have to buy it. And the people that do can pay for it. *Shrugs* Let the consumer decide.

theres no reason for name calling let alone multiple threads on the same damn topic.
you know what after this display by you people i hope bioware dosent do dlc because you people will never be happy
its you people who are killing this franchise not the devs
ill give the examples
mwaaaaaaah i hate the mako
me2 comes along makos gone
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmwah me2 isnt a rpg they sold out and catered to the shooters
mmmmmmmmmmmwah i want me1 squad back
me3 comes along with more rpg elements
wahwahwah no veichle exploration
mmmmmmmmmmwuaaaaaa i want me2 squad back
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmwah the endings are terrible so the whole game fails
you people sound like some cry babies who need to get out more because you dont know what the heck you want
Whoa boy, you're the very model of an adult, reasonable individual. I'm sure you'll be getting your wish and Bioware will be hiring you on as a moderator any day now!

people dont understand that these guys spent what 3 years devoting alot of there time and life into making this
and like i said earlier maybe the endings changed to to microsofts little beta leak because bioware did say tweaks will happen
and hey if what i say is true blame microsoft since they released the beta without biowares ok

A very EASY way to avoid that is to not recycle levels and areas. If you give them new areas, new dialog and the like, people will see Bioware worked on it. If a 'real' ending was on disk, I think people would have found it by now. This is something Bioware has to work for therefore... 10 bucks. Case in point: Legacy for Dragon Age 2.
As for people not paying for better endings, I have to point out Fallout 3's Broken Steel. It was highly anticipated and sold very well.
