^ This is the biggest strawman of them all, I never once vocally complained about the first two games, hell, I wasn't even active on this community until the ending of the third. The first two were amazing, I had my gripes with 3, but nothing to come on here about, but when the game jumped the shark (that's how me and many others see it anyway) I just couldn't stand it.

Forums like this exist so fans can vent and criticize in an environment they feel comfortable in.On top of that your response to my post with the 'fake cry mwaaaaah' was wholely obnoxious and unnecessary, you could have just as easily made your point without it, but you opted for that option, and this is why I don't put stock in anything you say.

I think the most of the things in Tazzmission's recital were peanuts and a matter of taste. Personally, I can deal with the mako and I like Dragon Age 2. But the ending from ME3 was and is a huge disappointment for me and I should be allowed to communicate this.

Hate to kill your spark, but Yahtzee the game reviewer said it long before you and I...disagree. I know ALOT of people who wanted more Garrus romantic interaction back in Mass Effect 2 and adored the new cutscenes in Mass Effect 3. I know at least one homosexual who was pleased and happy with Steve Cortez after being unable to romance nobody in the past two games.

You can make SOME fans happy, you just can't make them ALL happy.

And you can make all the fans unhappy by putting in three of the same CGI cutscenes with slightly different tones to illustrate that yes, you changed the original endings in a rush of worry, forgetting ALL about the Dark Matter problems that the original ME3 endings were supposed to deal with.

I have to agree, there's no excuse for personal insults. And you're right, it's "only a game", but it's a great one, a uniqe trilogy, and it would be so wonderful if everybody could get a pleasing end. I can't just enjoy an adventure with such a sad end, so I'm trying to change this situation, but I wish not to harm other people.

because the way people are reacting on the board is they feel the ending should just be nothing but rpg

so does bioware cave to them and lose other fan bases?

as a fan of the lore and franchise mass effect is a series every gamer should play

hell i got maybe 10 people on a forum i used to post on to give me2 a go and they loved it and these guys were die hard uncharted and cod fans

people dont understand that these guys spent what 3 years devoting alot of there time and life into making this

and like i said earlier maybe the endings changed to to microsofts little beta leak because bioware did say tweaks will happen
and hey if what i say is true blame microsoft since they released the beta without biowares ok

A very EASY way to avoid that is to not recycle levels and areas. If you give them new areas, new dialog and the like, people will see Bioware worked on it. If a 'real' ending was on disk, I think people would have found it by now. This is something Bioware has to work for therefore... 10 bucks. Case in point: Legacy for Dragon Age 2.

As for people not paying for better endings, I have to point out Fallout 3's Broken Steel. It was highly anticipated and sold very well.
