So remember when everyone was mad in Dragon Age: Origins about the light bridge puzzle? Well, I actually thought that was a good puzzle, because you could sit back and think it out and use a little mental muscle. In my opinion the dude who designed that should get a raise.

This "Target Reaper" boss in ME3? Well... Let's just say its Japanese video game boss hard... the sort of hard that relies not just on skill but apparently luck. This boss fight pisses me off to no end. I'm at death 20 or worse now. I've managed to get a ways into it, but eventually I always get smoked. The "over-the-shoulder" camera view is horrible for this sort of boss fight. Trying to keep an eye on boss well running left and right is annoying as hell!

I'm playing on PC by the way... not sure if consoles are having an easier time with this one.

Just as an update... okay, maybe it isn't Japanese video game boss hard, but it's a bit wonky at times. It isn't intuitive, but eventually I got a feel for it (20 deaths later). Patience is all I can suggest for others

i died twice on that, first playthrough Hardcore. Not hard at all, you aren't supposed to strafe so much on the later ones...

Out of curiosity did you play it on PC or console? I found in the first stage sometimes strafing and rolling wasn't always quick enough to dodge, you had to outright run if it curved. Once I clued in that you could resume painting the target without having to start the process over things were better (or possible, lol)

Its quite easy once you figure out how to do it. You only have to move for a split second :P

?!?!?!?

You must have play this on a console... much more harder then that on PC<_<

I have a
great problem with this boss
…. I for the love of all the stars can’t pass this
boss (and yes…I am stuck on this), I am hard RPG player….but this boss is more
like a boss for FPS/TPS…. I have come to the last shot, but I am so tired that
just one small mistake on the dodging department and BANG I AM DEAD… and of
course, back to the beginning (first shoot) :crying:

I have
reduce the difficulty of the game to the lowest level, but found no diference
on the speed that the reaper moves, on the last shoot he continues to be over
me and the action of the game start on slow motion….my PC is not a new one and
when slow motion option kicks in… its like bullet time from hell :s I die every
time.

Can I ask
to the dev team that can just change one thing? :(

To insert
the possibility to save between every shot, against the reaper, and or a
auto-save, so when we die, we don’t need to start on the first shot but on the
shot that we die?

Thanks :pinched:

Ps: totaly hard japanix TPS level:?
