I can't be;ieve any game developer could so misjudge a player's affinity with their avatar as to wantonly kill the hero off. Bah! No more BioWare games for me.
alot of people ( myself included) asked for shepard to be killed off
its his trilogy and what better way to end it is by killing off the hero?
heres how i look at it
reaper controll = shepard sacrifising his life to protect others
bad ending = shepard worries about himself and all life ends and he remains
Dude that is utter **** so whats the point why the **** do I bother saveing the whole universe and do all the quests and so on if shepher is gong to die whats the point if he/she has no chance of living?
That's fine that you wanted Shepard to die, but I didn't. Is your choice for an ending more valid than those of us who wanted something a little more uplifitng. I have chosen to have my character die in other games (Dragon Age: Origins) but it was my choice to die. I had no choice here. I played hours and hours of this games series, only to have the very final decision taken from me. Nothing I did before mattered in this final moment. No Choice. Developer killed off Shepard. Period.
As a loyal player through three games, shouldn't I at least have had a choice for some sort of happy (and if not happy, at least peaceful) ending for my Shepard character? Just because the series ended, players should not have been forced to watch thier Shepard die.
