I am unable to get passed the following door:

Everytime I try to open it, it damages me. I can`t go back as the door to the rest of the sanctuary is locked. I committed suicide three times, problem persists. I am stuck in the area.

Am I missing something?

There is no fix. I had to restart the mission with different companions to avoid the bug.

Hey, thanks for confirming to me that this was a bug.

I did not have to restart the mission, furthermore I did not have to switch companions. I loaded a save (not quick or auto) from a couple areas before your screenshotted door.

The next time I got there, it opened.

So its clearly bugged. The door also inflicted damage to me when it was bugged, like with you. Maybe it has something to do with the sinister-looking banshee behind that window trying to target us or something.

Nope, it does not. Rather, it is a bug that happens because the "power switch" in one of the preceding room does not fire its cinematic properly, leading to a serie of bugs including missing the cinematic, less enemy to kill and the door killer. All in all, a major game braker, the size of the shadow broker bug that prevented you to recruit Samara and finish the game... This HAS to be corrected!
