 From my understanding the catlyst at the end is just another synthetic who thinks it knows what its talking about and had nothing to do at all with the franchise up to that point. So the catlyst idea is what ompletely ruined the game i mean an AI or VI type thing that just so happens to look like that one kid who thinks the answer to life ( yes not a problem imo an answer to stop life from pregresing) is to get big robots that still havent been explained to well to kill EVERYTHING  c'mon bioware did you even try with this game.
