Maybe if I accepted the dalatrass' offer, but I couldn't. I wanted to strangle her for even suggesting it.

But then, I want the Merge ending, so maybe I should just keep playing? It has no "golden" option anyway, does it?

Play 5 MP matches that should boost your GR to 80%. Bioware lied. Its very hard even if your a paragon player.

I just check my EMS and its at 3900 and i have 95% GR. Only 55% of the game beaten.

kingsims, I think I made my point clear. I won't touch multiplayer with a bargepole. I'd rather get a suboptimal ending instead.

Anyway, off I go to finish the game...

I don't know what an optimal ending is in ME3.

The destroy ending is the best ending according to Bioware because Shepard lives and the Reapers and their technologies are destroyed permanently.

Untill somebody like quarians will make new reapers though.

Which will happen.

What the developers think is the best ending isn't necessarily what a player would think is the best ending. That's the point of giving choice. Personally, I think they all suck, just some suck slightly less. :)

That's off topic, though.

Yeah, but you commit genocide with the Geth and EDI. I don't see how betraying the Geth if you sided with them or got peace as a good ending.

Fact of the matter is, none of the endings are "good" in both senses. So disappointing, I hope there will be some follow up or an alternative ending or something, the rest of the game was great.

Why are you so vehemently opposed to multiplayer? It's almost pretentious.

Because no one should be force to play multiplayer so they can succeed in single player. Also the MP is mindless, at least if we were fighting real people it would be more interesting.

Because I don't want to play it? I just don't. Not my thing at all. Do I need a detailed essay justifying my choice?

A detailed report? No. Just a few valid reasons. "I don't wanna," isn't one. Why don't you want to play? Purist or something?

I don't like multiplayer games in general. I play for story and I like to play my games alone and at my own pace.

Now, are we done with this interrogation?

NO

Why do you play games? Why do you play games with goals at the end!?

Jk

hmm I take it this game favours paragon decisions and DLC imports

my second play through just starting Thessia and I have ~3500 EMS.

I did every single side quest, scanned every single thing, mostly chose the Paragon options and did everything the "good" way gaining the most resourses, I had about 7200 Total and like 3500 effective at the end

So much for getting the perfect ending without multiplayer ;)

OP why are you so damn stubborn? Just play some MP for about an hour or 2, maybe 3, and you'll have Galactic Readiness at 90-100%, which will increase your effective strength to 6000-7000, which will help you with the best ending.

Seriously, why the hate towards MP? Have you even tried it yet? It's super fun!

In all honesty, the coop isn't that bad and when you get a decent team it's actually kind of fun. But, still disappointed I couldn't get the ending I wanted without investing time in it =P

Yeah, or if you're a lone-wolf who doesn't like playing with other people (like lucidfox), you can simply solo MP on Bronze. I've done it a couple of times. It's not that hard to play MP alone on Bronze difficulty (well, with a Vanguard it isn't).

I just played about 5 games and got to 65% rating and that put me to about 4200, so it seriously takes no time at all to do it, maybe an hour tops.

Play a multiplayer game single player. Start a new private game, and just do it by yourself. You'll be able to solo bronze (might take a few tries to get used to how it all works). Geth are probably the easiest opponents.

If you are at 3500, you only need 4000 if you save Anderson, so won't take that many games.

Just look at it as more single player missions. :P

I'm just over halfway through the priority missions (I'm on the one where you get Tali), and my EMS is at 3,800+.

No MP played.
