purchased via EA store about 10 days ago. UPS just dropped off shiny new CE at my door few minutes ago.   I am in Toronto Canada btw. According to UPS tracking they sent it out around Oct 30th.

I bought mine from the store today at 10:30am across the mall in Lufkin Texas,they only have 4 CE and 2 regular edition to purchase for those interested.

The map is pretty sturdy and nice, though frayed. The frays are there on purpose to make it look older, though, I'm sure. I have a cellphone cam, but no cell phone reception at my house, otherwise I'd have a picture of the whole CE spread.

I don't have a camera sorry,but the cloth map that I got has loose threads on the corners and sides.



Its bigger then a launch box tin can like those from Fallout 3 CE just add 1 and half inch each side and that perrty much how big it is.



The paint feels bit rough(air paint) with red fake blood stained on the corner.

If EA is pushing out physical copies TODAY, why can't they tell D2D to unlock today? Totally not fair.

Totally knew that was coming! That's why I didn't get the physical game since I knew EA wouldn't produce a quality map since that would cost them money.

They made it looked frayed and saves on some thread. I am looking forward more to the bonus disc

Yep. They just dropped it off and left.


Anyone tried redeeming codes yet? I tried one and it said it was unable to redeem. Do we have to wait until tomorrow?

Um a friend told me that the codes ain't in the box so yes I think we have to wait a day or something, im gonna be checking my email like crazy for the codes, kidna stinks they won't be in the box tho

The Stone Prisoner, Dragon Armor, and the 3 Collector's Edition items are in the box.



And the character creator import is screwed up. Trying to tweak the appearance of your import reverts all settings to a default... At least for my Dalish. Really lame, since I have to rebuild her from scratch unless I want the tattoo they forced on me.

I too received my copy of the CE this morning - about 2 hours ago. I did not have to sign for it. I live on the east coast of Canada and was not expecting delivery until later this week or even next week. Hence, a great surprise. I ordered through the EA store and had regular delivery - which turned out to be UPS.



The manual is not very big - about 34 pages of detailed info about the game which I have not yet read. There does not seem to be any info regarding lore in the manual, nor is there any info regarding particular spells. I was hoping for something more like the BG manuals, so this is a bit of a disappointment.



I have not yet loaded the game - and probably won't until much later this evening because of a pile of work that needs to be done. So no, I have not tried to download any of the DLC.



The game does come with codes for the armour and Shale. What was not included was the promotional codes - ie the memory ring and the item offered by EA. I believe I will receive an email with these codes tomorrow. If not, I will call EA.

Oh, and just FYI, the DAJ items and Lucky Stone are already available in the DLC section of the main menu upon logging in.
