Has anyone unlocked this one?  I was just wondering what number your war assets had to be at in order to get it. "Most" is a pretty vague term.

I was also very curious about this. I feel like I did pretty much everything there is, short of importing a level 20 multiplayer character.

I unlocked it my first play-through, I had 7062 Military strength, along with 100% galactic readiness, through multilayer(which gave me 7,062 Effective military strength) got it during the romance scene before heading to "the point of no return"(Cerberus base)

I've got a feeling you need a minimum of 4000 Effective Military Strength.

Basically you need to have 100% each system
Resolve the issue between the Geth and Quarians peacefully so they are both with you
Possibly might need to resolve the Krogan and Salarian situation out
Have done Arrival (not doing it causes one of the Alliance Fleets to have a lesser score as some of its marines went in Shepard's place)
Do all the side stuff that helps maintain or boost war assets.

People don't believe it is possible in the Singleplayer without any Multiplayer modifier, but I believe that it is and people have reported having done it.

I'm trying to look through my playthroughs now to find out which would stand most chance of it and soon as I find it I'll go through and see if I can get it and respond to this topic again once finished

you need to play single player twice or level up to 20 in multiplayer then complete the game.

4000 EMS. You don't need to level up in MP, you just need to play some before the assault on Cerberus HQ to raise your readiness rating.

It is actually impossible in SP. Not enough war assets exist in game.

I believe it ties into the Galaxy at War part of the game. To get this achieve you need to play some MP in order to raise the Galactic Readiness %, since by default its only at 50%, meaning you only use half of your war assets as effective military strength.

I easily got it first time around by having over 6700 EMS and 92% readiness on my PS3. I did do MP and leveled my Engineer team to lvl 20 and promoted them to my assets

I got over 6000 EMS without even touching MP by way of imported save reaching back to ME1.

It is impossible to get over 4000 EMS in SP only currently. There is no way you could have achieved 6000 EMS without MP or the infiltrator App. There are a bunch of threads about this. If you still think your statement is correct, post a screenshot of your War Asset list so others can learn where they were wrong.

I'm not sure about this. There are many resources hidden in decisions where you don't expect them, and odd bonuses come from perfectly complete ME1/ME2 playthroughs. I've been told by several people that it's possible.

We really need the wiki page to list all possible war assets...

Amazingly, those people who have said it is possible have never bothered to post screenshots of their totals WITH higher than 4000 EMS with SP assets. Seems like they'd want to either help others or show them up if it was actually possible.

I believe it is almost possible, you need to be a "mixed" player (not full renegade or paragon), all the dlc from me2 and at least bring down the sky. Was playing with my friend in my x box party after tuchunka I had over 1000 more assets than him because i was playing my 70%ren/30%paragon femshep. Basically

Let balak go (you get the batarian fleet)
DO NOT save the council in me1 (it really hurts the alliance fleets and the DA is not that great...)
Answer all the support quests "correctly"
DO NOT Cure the genophage, the salarians out weight wrex
Keep Maleons data for a bigger krogan boost from eve
Save all teammates from me2
Biotic artillery instead of support
Give david to grissom acad

These are just to name a few, but my war assets were quite high compared to his, he only beat me in the end because he imported multiple MP teams and got the bonuses there.

Wrong and wrong. War assets from saving the council (including saving the Salarian councilor in ME3) outweigh the losses in the Alliance fleet. And curing the genophage while having Wrex outweighs the salarians BY FAR, because they throw most of their support in anyway after the Citadel, while losing Wrex nets you a big loss.

Well,  yes. You lose more initially by saving the council...but you get more for saving the Salarian council person twice... It ends up being a +20 shift in your favour.

Same with curing the Genophage. Any initial losses get made up for later when you have the support of the clans, plus Eve, plus Wrex.

Also, make sure you played Lair of the Shadow Broker, so you can get Feron as a War Asset (if you don't play that DLC, Liara uses mercenaries instead of Shepard to help her take the Shadow Broker's place, but Feron is killed in the attack).
