I'm curious, does anyone know what happens if both Mordin and Wrex are dead before ME3?

I'm too soft to kill these guys off, but with Mordin having to sacrifice himself for the cure, I'm really wondering how it plays out.

As MA5Bergy stated - Wreav replaces Wrex and Padok Wiks replaced Mordin.
