So, most of us hate that the Normandy gets stranded no matter what, leaving the crew in an ambiguous situation.
But what I hate most is this:
The Normandy is supposed to be part of the fight against the Reapers. Stealth runs and heavy firepower support. So why did it retreat (in rather good condition it looked like too!) all the way back to the Charon relay? Where the hell was Joker going?
The worst part is, not long before this, Joker confesses guilt about how he got Commander Shepard killed. So why does he leave the Commander to die again?!
Does anyone know? Because I can't find an explanation, nor can I think of a plausible one. Biggest plot-hole in the series, if you ask me...

Well he probably figured that Weapon would destroy the Mass effect relays and that = Dead system so he figured to leave it before it blows up i guess

Relays blow up, Earth, fleets and all civilizations are done, so he gets the hell away, but fails and they all inevitably die of starvation.
The end.
The end.

The Normandy is EDI, and EDI is the Normandy. Joker bugs out and tries to outrun the destuct-o-wave in order to save EDI from...well, whatever that was.
That's the way I've chosen to think of it anyway. It's extremely shoddy, I know, but it's better than "whoops, the developers totally fumbled the ball there".
Barring some kind of retcanon DLC, I think we'll all just have to use our imaginations.

Here's the thing though: Why would Shepard destroy all the relays if they would still wipe out all of civilization? It doesn't make sense. The energy from each relay has to be used up with the crucible beam, so when the relays blow up they won't cause every planet in every linked system to become a husk. The relay energy is sent out to magically do whatever Shep chooses. So, once again, where the hell are you going Joker? And WHY? Ugh, once again, the writing needs clarification. BioWare, you did NOT think this through well...

I see it as future DLC for people who Shepard's live. I'm hoping, I want to rescue my squadies
