I thought the Genophage cure was the best mission out of all of them. The game isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Just the ending. Taken individually the different missions are pretty good.

They also contributed barely anything to the war effort. They put in none of the effort and get to reap all of the rewards.

They were the second most high tech species, second to the Asari. The Reapers were scared of their singing skills

I can't imagine Bioware' writers not thinking about how include Salarians inside the galaxy war.

Probably just an EA schedule imperative to release the game

Indeed. The game itself is certianly not as bad as DA2, just... dat auto-dialogue... and dat endings.

That's the reason reapers don't mind the salarians, they're lesser lifeforms, just like quarians.
