Simply put, I run my OS off one Disk and my Games of another. Is there a way to change the Location of where the DLC is kept, as I'd rather have it on my Games HDD rather than my OS one (as the default location is in my documents).
I am Running Windows 7
Can I change the DLC Location folder?

You might consider mapping the My Documents folder to your gaming HDD altogether as quite a few games use it to store data. Other then that i don't know a method out of hand. At the very least the registry doesn't seem to contain the path so it is either hardcoded or stored elsewhere.

True, but I use my Computer for other things too
Ah well, if there isn't a way I'll just live with the DLC on my main drive.

Map it, otherwise you'll get DLC problems.

I know this thread is old but I wanted to just answer this question, as I was looking for the same information to save me time finding it myself, but it doesn't exist. I have found the information from the InstallLog_MSI.txt located in your installed game (Dragon Age Origins\\__Installer\\DISK1). What you look for is SavedDataFolders = MyDoc|BioWare\\Dragon Age. So we now know its possible.
Check out game folder: ..\\Dragon Age Origins\\data and the xml files are there to get the correct string names and locations.
Example:
<string name="COMMONAPPDATA_DIR">${CSIDL_COMMON_APPDATA}\\BioWare\\Dragon Age</string>
You can change to:
<string name="COMMONAPPDATA_DIR">${ROOT_DIR}\\DA_DATA</string>
So now my commonappdata is now stored in "D:\\Games\\Dragon Age Origins\\DA_DATA"
Note that D:\\Games\\ is on my hdd, yours would obviously be different but you don't need to type it in. I only showed mine for ease of thinking.
Now just check out the rest there and change the ones that are needed. If you anyone needs the full list of what to be changed, I can paste them all here.
